Akkineni Nagarjuna does not want any big opposition to be challenging against his son Akhil’s debut film release ‘Akhil’ slated for November 11th release. Nagarjuna is said to be very cautious in planning this film and when the time for release has come nearer, he is also assisting producers Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy in a perfect release strategy.

Actor Vijay Devarakonda, who was appreciated for his role in Yevade Subramanyam, has got another good offer. The actor is playing the lead in Pelli Choopulu. The film was launched on Sunday morning at a private studio in Hyderabad. Ritu Varma is playing the female lead and Tarun Bhaskar is the director.

“This is a simple love story, but the treatment is fresh. I know Tarun for a long time and we are good friends. He liked my role in the movie Yevade Subramanyam and came up with this subject,” said Vijay. He added that many young technicians are working in this film. Raj Kandukuri is producing the film along with an NRI, S. Rangineni, from UK.

Nagarjuna says that they were aiming for quality over speed to ensure that his son Akhil’s debut film is worth the wait Nagarjuna has finally announced that his son Akhil’s debut film, Akhil, will release on Diwali, November 11. The film was supposed to release on Dasara, October 22, but was postponed due to technical problems.

Talking about the reason behind the late release of his son Akhil’s much-awaited debut film, Nagarjuna says, “Akhil’s film got postponed only because the special effects were not ready.
