Rajaiah To Be Suspended From Congress !
The Congress Party has initiated damage-control exercise in Warangal after its earlier Lok Sabha election candidate Rajaiah was arrested and jailed in the case pertaining to mysterious death of his daughter-in-law and three grand children in a fire mishap at his residence two days ago.While the party had already replaced Rajaiah with Sarve Satyanarayana, the party is worried that the ghastly incident would have adverse impact on the prospects of Congress in elections.
The party high command is all set to suspend Rajaiah from the primary membership of the party to minimize the damage to some extent in elections. The TS Congress leaders brought to the notice of party high command that Rajaiah’s episode caused immense damage to Congress image and unless Rajaiah is suspended, the party will not be in a position to put at least a reasonable fight to the ruling TRS.
They said all the political parties are trying to use Rajaiah episode as a weapon to defame the Congress in the elections and he should be suspended at the earliest to send a strong message that the party would not tolerate such ghastly incidents.
Complaint filed against ABN Radhakrishna
A complaint has been lodged against ABN Andhra Jyothi chief Vemuri Radha Krishna with the Press Council of India on Friday over the ‘fund-raising issue’ of conjoined twins Veena and Vani.The complaint was lodged by Telangana Advocates JAC, which complained that Radhakrishna collected funds by telecasting programmes on ABN Andhra Jyothi channel highlighting the plight of Veena and Vani and sought donations from viewers to help the conjoined twins and their parents.
They complained that Radhakrishna collected lakhs of rupees as donations through the programme and cheated Veena and Vani and their parents by not extending the financial assistance to them and instead used the amount for his own needs. Earlier this week, Secunderabad magistrate ordered Saroornagar Police to file a case on Radhakrishna and ABN under sections IPC 406, 420, 403 and 120B, based on a petition filed by Sunkari Janardhan Goud.
The petitioner alleged that neither the channel nor RK had concern to use the funds for the purpose they were collected. Telangana Advocates JAC requested the chairman of Press Council of India to inquire into this issue and initiate stringent action against ABN channel and its chief Radhakrishna for cheating viewers and affected family of Veena and Vani.

Somaraju Veerraju Reveals An Interesting Development?
BJP senior leader and MLC Somaraju Veerraju has made an interesting revelation. According to him, BJP high command is keen on strengthening the party base in Andhra Pradesh and that it has been taking measures to ensure that the cadre and party are prepared for future. He revealed that a special committee has been appointed to look into the matter and the committee includes people like Kanna Lakshminarayana, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Shantareddy among others.
Veerraju further added that some political leaders had got stories written about the Centre giving special package to AP and other related stories, while the facts were totally different. Also, while even the Telangana government has put Modi’s picture in schemes introduced by Centre, AP government did not do that till date.
Verraju revealed that there was discontent among BJP members over tying up with TDP during 2014 general elections. However, at the time, the central leadership had felt that it was imminent with regards to central equations. However, now the party was clear about going to polls on its own from now on and the latest developments are a step in this direction. Meanwhile, it is interesting to note that the new committee appointed by BJP has people who are anti-TDP.
‘Size Zero’ Trailer Hits Million Views
The recently released trailer of PVP Cinema’s “Size Zero” reaches over 1 million views on Youtube.”Size Zero”, PVP Cinema’s upcoming film, is directed by K. S. Prakash Rao and stars Anushka Shetty, Arya and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles. A bilingual project, the film is also being released in Tamil as “Inji Iduppazhagi”
The audio of the film, composed by the legendary M. M. Keeravani, was launched along with the trailer on Nov. 1 in a grand, star-studded event at Novotel HICC. The success of the event is now being mimicked by the audio and trailer of the film.
In just a few days, the trailers of both, “Size Zero” and “Inji Iduppazhagi”, have scored over 1 million views each while the audio has received an overwhelming positive response from audiences.
With Anushka’s birthday tomorrow, such good news could not have come at a better time. Both films, “Size Zero” and “Inji Iduppazhagi”, are scheduled to release on Nov. 27.

Ex-MP, wife, son arrested, sent to jail
Hyderabad: A former Congress Party member of parliament, his wife and their son have been arrested and sent to jail in Telangana’s Warangal town in a case relating to the death of the ex-MP’s daughter-in-law and three grandsons, police said.Siricilla Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and son Anil Kumar were arrested late Thursday and produced before a magistrate who sent them to judicial custody for 14 days.
They were later shifted to Warangal central jail. The three were in police custody since Wednesday when charred bodies of S. Sarika and her sons were found in Rajaiah’s house in Warangal. S. Sarika and her three sons — Abhinav (seven), Ayan (three) and Sriyan (three) — were burnt to death in the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
On a complaint by Sarika’s parents, police registered a case against Rajaiah, his wife and their son for harassment and abetment to suicide. The Police also booked a case of suspicious death.
Sarika’s relatives blamed ex member of parliament, his wife and son for the deaths. They cited a case booked against them in the past for harassing Sarika for dowry and Anil’s extra-marital affair with a woman. Police said they were investigating the case from all angles to reach to a conclusion if it was suicide or a murder.
Food samples collected from Rajaiah’s house were also sent for examination to find out if Sarika and children were poisoned before burning. Rajaiah was elected from Warangal in 2009 but lost last year. He filed nomination papers for the by-election on Monday but told the party leadership after the tragedy that he was opting out of the race.
‘I Believe Babu Was Involved In Ranga’s Murder’
Right now, the book written by Chegondi Hariramajogayya has become a topic of conversation among political circles. Years after the murder of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao, who belonged to the Kapu community, was murdered, the ex minister Chegondi has written a book where in he said that present Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu was also involved in the murder of Ranga.
Justifying his book, Chegondi said that he too like many others of his time believed in Babu’s involvement and that was one of the reasons for writing the book. Talking to media, Hariramajogayya clarified that his book was not written for money and he said that accusations by TDP leaders like Kala Venkata Rao were baseless.
He said his books were priced at Rs 20 and he further added that any money he would make would be given to an orphanage. He further stated that his book also revealed the reasons behind his shifting from one party to the other.

Bihar Results Crucial For AP Special Status
The fifth and final phase of the Bihar polls concluded yesterday and the exit poll mania has engulfed the political parties allover the country. While most exit polls indicate a close contest between the BJP and the grand alliance, Today’s Chanakya predicted BJP’s win with a good margin. Meanwhile, political analysts are closely watching Bihar poll results in lieu of BJP’s promise of Special Status to AP.
Political analysts and several leaders are opining that BJP’s defeat in Bihar would result in the NDA government softening its stand of no special status to AP and it may even initiate the process of fulfilling its promise of special package to AP. Exit polls clearly indicate that Telugu voters in Bihar did not vote for BJP, which may work against the party’s hope to clinch the polls.
Until now, the BJP central leaders have been delaying the announcement of special package citing Bihar polls. Now that the poll fever is over, the ruling party is expected to announce a special package to Andhra Pradesh in the coming few days. Meanwhile, TDP leaders are hoping that special status dream will become a reality if BJP wins the Bihar polls and if it loses, a special package is surely guaranteed to strengthen its trust among the Telugu voters in the state.
Did Baahubali Makers Make Profits Or Losses?
Given the fact that Baahubali is being touted as the biggest grosser of Telugu industry so far, this question will appear to be totally silly at this point in time. However, months after the film’s release, this is the question on the minds of many industry insiders.While quoting a figure is pretty easy, getting actual money in hand is nothing short of a miracle in the industry. There are many ifs and buts before money changes from one hand to the other. Depending on the needs of the person’s involved and correct timing, money changes hands, else, it takes days and months together for the transactions to happen.
While some delay payments, some try to let go of it and some others present financial problems to avoid giving money. And talking of Baahubali, the makers never expected the film to be such a huge hit. Though they hoped for a big hit, they did not expect the film to be a super-duper hit. So, apart from the expenses, the film was sold for reasonable prices. Of course, there will be the overflows money, but talk is that the producers are left with a deficit of about Rs 10 crores.
The film ended up being a blockbuster and turned into the golden goose for the buyers on the other hand.
Meanwhile, it is being said that most of the buyers have avoided giving the overflows stating a variety of reasons.
Talk is that barring a couple of buyers who were close to Rajamouli, none of them gave him excess money. Also, talk is that the gross, share and other figures being given in news and those quoted by buyers is totally different. However, the producers did one thing that helped them cut costs. They completed nearly 40 per cent shooting of Part 2 and the production costs were added to the costs of Part 1.
But talk is that this time around, they will be very strict about the prices at which they will sell the film. It is being said that they will complete the film within a budget of Rs 100 crores this time around. So the latest talk is that the producers are looking forward to making profits of both Part 1 and Part 2 from Baahubali Part 2.
