According to reliable sources, TV host-turned-actress Niharika Konidela is charging a bomb for her debut film. It’s buzzed that she has been paid a whopping amount as remuneration for her maiden movie. Niharika, who shot to fame with Telly with popular programmes like D Juniors, Gupshup, offered big amount on par with star heroines which is now raising several eye-balls in the tinsel town.

Thanks to her ‘Mega brand’ tag which is said to have played pivotal role in getting her a fat pay cheque of close to Half Crore. Apparently, Niharika Konidela is seen as face of the film and the makers want to project her so.

Keeping in view that they could use Niharika, Naga Babu, Varun Tej and even Mega family (if needed) for the wide promotion of the film, the makers thought this would fetch them more than what they’re paying her. This is not all. She is well-known to TV audiences as well.

Considering all the above factors, the makers came forward to pay her as demanded so that they could recover it from TV satellite rights of the movie besides sales at the ticket windows. Featuring Naga Shourya as lead protagonist, the film tipped to be an intense love story will be directed by Rama Raju whose claim to fame is Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Chettu.

The yet-to-be-titled is jointly produced by a noted TV channel and producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. With this, Mega daughter Niharika Konidela has rung a new record with her debut film even before it started shooting.

In the wake of a film titled “Talvar” hitting screens on coming October 2nd, a Bollywood director name Manish Gupta has accused that the parents of murdered Noida girl Aarushi Talwar have sold out their daughter’s murder for crores.

This director has earlier made a film named “Rahasya” basing on the same scandalous murder story of 14 year old Aarushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj in Noida in 2008. Earlier, release of “Rahasya” got stalled for 11 months as Talwar family has moved Court to stall the film though court has later give clearance for the release.

Talking about that, Manish accused, “Talwars signed crores of rupees deal for giving away the story. But they have provided a version that projects them as innocents and CBI has framed them”. He also stated that Aarushi’s aunt Vandana Talwar offered him the content for the film but he refused to take it as that version looks like a one-sided story.

“Parents have sold out daughter’s murder to make money” he concludes. “Talvar”, which has a bigger star-cast with Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Tabu among others, will hit the screens on October 2. The film is directed by Meghana Gulzar, daughter of legendary lyricist and poet Gulzar.

Understanding between some big channels and big heroes is always amusing. Whether there is such understanding or not, it is now believed that MAA TV, the erstwhile sole subsidiary of Nagarjuna and Mega family, still gives much preference to the stars from these two film khandans.

On October 4th, “Baahubali: The Beginning” Malayalam version is being aired on Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama. Around same time, even Sony MAX is screening the Hindi version. Everyone thought that even MAA TV would screen the Telugu version on similar dates. Surprisingly, MAA TV fixed October 25th as the date for screening of Rajamouli’s magnum opus.

Some cine critics went on praising how MAA has given way to Charan and Akhil by not fixing Baahubali TV premiere either on 16th or 22nd or the ensuing Sundays. Because Charan’s “Bruce Lee” is releasing on 16th and Akhil’s “Akhil” is fixed for 22nd release.

Whether did this intentionally or not, had they planned to screen “Baahubali” on any other Sunday, surely these theatrical releases would have seen some impact.

Two directors have travelled in the same path and one got heavily lucky while other one is not much compensated as he expected. They are none other than Maruthi and Harish Shankar, who have both scored hits with Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi and Subramanyam For Sale respectively.

As part of their remuneration, both these directors have taken only 75% of their pay and for the rest 25% they have grabbed the Overseas distribution rights of the films. Maruthi and Nani have recreated a superb magic and they made 6.1 crores from USA box office. Even if Maruthi is given 1/3 share in this collection, then he will be pocketing around 2 crores. That’s super luck.

Coming to Harish Shankar, though Subramanyam For Sale is picking tremendously in India and Telugu states, it’s USA collection is nearly 88 lakhs till and the figure may touch near 1 crore. In that case, our Gabbar Singh director will get around 30 lakhs, say source. While Maruthi got pure gold luck, Harish missed it.

Puri Jagannadh is forced to reconsider changing of his next film title. The title Loafer did not suit the film and also got negative feedback from the audience. Puri was first confident that it will be an apt one but is now reconsidering on the recommendation of the producer C.Kalyan and his guru Ram Gopal Varma.

The new title is ‘Maa Amma Seetha Maa Lakshmi’. The official announcement regarding the title will be done after the movie shoot is complete. Only 2-3 days of shoot is left before the wrap. The post production works are also happening simultaneously. The release plan is yet to be confirmed by the makers.

Posani Krishna Murali and Revathi are playing the parents of Varun Tej in the film. The actor will be seen as a robber who reforms later. Bollywood model Disha Patani is playing the female lead in the film and it marks her Telugu debut. Sunil Kashyap is the music composer.

The title logo of Trivikram’s next with Nithin, A..Aa, Anasuya Ramalingam Vs Anand Vihari was released a short while ago. The title design is impressive and is an instant hit with the people. The logo poster also reveals one more interesting update regarding the film.

Nadiya is not Anasuya Ramalingam as predicted by some media house. It is clearly said that Nithin will be seen as Anand Vihari while Samantha will be Anasuya Ramalingam. While Samantha plays the main heroine, Malayalam Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran is the second heroine.

It marks the Telugu debut of Anupama. The shooting begins on October 6th and it will go non-stop till completion. The makers are planning Sankranthi 2016 release for the movie.Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations will produce this youthful entertainer.

They have previously produced Trivikram’s Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and this will be his first time in Telugu.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali will screened in the Television for the first time on October 25th in MAA TV. The leading entertainment channel had invested huge money on bagging this movie rights and so efforts are on to derieve maximum advantage out of that.

Accordingly MAA TV is planning a non stop two hour special program on October 24th, a day prior to the film’s telecast. The channel will be airing Some exclusive behind the scenes info along with the star cast interviews during this time to draw the attention of the audience on the D-Day.

Baahubali in its full run is one of the biggest hits of Indian Cinema. The movie in all languages put together has collected a whopping 600 Crore gross which is never before heard for any film from Telugu film industry. Following the super success of the film, there is big hype on the second part which will see light the next year.
