Leaving “Baahubali” at the top, by now Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” has toppled many records in Telugu film industry. Probably the film’s sensible story line written by Koratala Siva has done such a  wonderful magic. And we have already come up with the news that Bollywood’s star hero Hrithik Roshan agreed to star in the remake.

It is being heard in Bollywood circles however that Hrithik has objected for the climax of “Srimanthudu”. Rather giving any emotional twist, the director has given abrupt ending with silly factory blast killing the whole bunch of villains, he has felt. Bollywood giant Eros International that owns the rights of Srimanthudu is said to contemplating to approach Koratala Siva again to re-work on the climax part to suit Bollywood sensibilities and also to the liking of Hrithik Roshan.

Though some say whatever the content already present in Srimanthudu would click big time, there is no guarantee that Hindi audiences always love south content. If Mahesh’s “Pokiri” is a big hit in Hindi as Salman’s “Wanted”, his “Okkadu” is a disaster in the form of Arjun Kapoor’s “Tevar”. Let’s see how they will tweak Srimanthudu now to get best result.

Only three days to go for Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s visual effects filled socio-fantasy film, Puli. The film is releasing in more than 2500 screens across the world on 1st October, and fans’ expectations have already touched the sky. RC Kamalkannan, who designed mind-blowing visual effects for Rajamouli’s VFX wonders like Magadheera and Eega, worked as the VFX Supervisor for Puli.

In a recent Interview, Kamalkannan, who received National Award for Best Visual Effects Supervisor for Magadheera, revealed what went behind producing the high quality visual effects for Puli. Kamalkannan startled everyone as he revealed that Puli has more than 2400 VFX filled shots. To compare, Baahubali had 2000 VFX shots, while Eega and Magadheera had 1200 and 1600 shots respectively.

Promising an out and out visual treat for fans and family audiences with Puli, Kamalkannan said that Puli features several interesting VFX created characters like the One Eyed Monster, Giant Tortoise, Black Panther etc. The advance bookings for Puli started four days ago and already, almost all the tickets for the first weekend have been emptied, showcasing the craze for the film.

If the plans of Majnu (Premam remake) makers materialize, we will see King Nagarjuna and Victory Venkatesh in their film. They are being approached to play little cameos in the movie which will begin its regular shooting proceedings in Vizag in the first week of November.

Naga Chaitanya is licking his wounds after that failure of Dochey and is keenly working of his next Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo with Gautam Menon to be back on success route. Naga Chaitanya will take up Majnufter the completion of Saahasam Swaasaa Saagipo.

Majnu will be directed by Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti and will have three heroines. Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameshwaran are confirmed as two heroines and the makers are in talks with Shruti Hassan for the main heroine. A new producer will be entering film industry with this film.

Today, both Charan and Varun were shooting for Bruce Lee and Dilwale respectively, and had lunch together. In a memorable update for all the film lovers in India, legendary Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg will be coming to India to promote his next release, a thriller drama titled Bridge of Spies. This will be Spielberg’s second promotional visit in India, as he already promoted his 2013 Oscar winning film, Lincoln, in India.

Bridge of Spies marks Spielberg’s comeback to direction after a gap of 3 years, and apparently, Spielberg, is quite excited to show the film to Indian audiences and know their reactions. Currently, Reliance, which acted as one of the producers of this Tom Hanks starrer, is busy finalizing the logistics of Spielberg’s India tour.

Bridge of Spies also sees the reunion of Spielberg and his favorite actor and Oscar winner Tom Hanks. The film is all set for a grand Indian release on 16th October. Spielberg is hugely famous among the Indian fans for his pathbreaking movies like Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List etc.

It doesn’t get any bigger and surprising than this. Today, Nani’s latest release, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, touched the sensational 25 crore worldwide share milestone. The film collected nearly $1.4 million (9.29 crores) in America alone and in the Telugu states and rest of India, it raked up close to 16.25 crores.

What’s even more praiseworthy is that Bhale Bhale Magadivoy entered this silver jubilee club all in just 24 days and is still running to packed houses on weekends on holidays. With this feat, BBM surpassed Allu Arjun’s summer hit S/O Satyamurthy’s overseas collections and stood at the 8th position in all-time highest grossing Telugu films in the US.

Even after the release of Subramanyam For Sale, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy didn’t see severe drops in its weekend collections. With this pace, the film will easily end up collecting 30 plus crores distributors share, explaining the true meaning of a blockbuster.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is now spending quality time with his family as he has got a one week break from the shooting of his forthcoming film Brahmotsavam. After shooting for an introduction song and couple of scenes in Ramoji Film City, director Srikanth Addala decided to take one week break.

Srikanth and his team are hunting for perfect locales to shoot for Brahmotsavam. “The  team is currently in Northern part of India scouting for picturesque locales. Once they’re back, the details of shooting locations would be revealed,” said a source in the know.

Billed to be a family entertainer, the film is said to be all about family values and celebrating traditions. Featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Pranitha Subhash and Samantha in the lead roles, the film is expected to glorify Mahesh’s on-screen image as lovable boy, responsible son.

Produced by PVP, the movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil. Given that Mahesh’s last venture Srimanthudu turned out to be money spinner at the Box Office, makers of Brahmotsavam are chalking plans to take this film to the next level.

Ace director Ram Gopal Varma as well all know is a man with out any sentiment. He is like that in his personal life as well as filmy life. But the director was very impressed with the mother sentiment quotient in Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film, Loafer with Varun Tej.

Ram Gopal Varma is so impressed that he offered to cut a promo for the movie on mother sentiment. The promo reportedly came out very well. Loafer shooting is complete except for 2-3 days work. The balance work will be completed in this week itself and then the post production works will begin.

Loafer was supposed to release in November. Now that Kanche is postponed to November, a decision on Loafer release will be taken after Kanche release. C.Kalyan who is the producer of Jyothi Lakshmi will be producing this film as well. Disha Patani is making her Telugu debut with this film.

From the last fortnight, we have seen numerous rumours about Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Some said he walked off from the movie set while some said he is contemplating the director change. But now dispelling all the rumours, the movie shooting will resume on Wednesday.

The makers will begin the shooting of the item song with Pawan Kalyan and Raai Lakshmi in the special set erected in Nanakramguda Rama Naidu Studio. After this they will go to Ramoji film city for one more schedule. Then there are two schedules in Gujarat and Ladakh.

The makers say the shooting will now go non-stop till completion as they plan Summer 2016 release for the film. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this film. This is the first time Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal are pairing up for a film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
