Telangana TDP senior leader and Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy’s alleged act of bribing TRS nominated MLA to vote for TDP in MLC elections have set shivers down the spine among several senior politicians cutting across political parties. The sensational cash-for-vote scandal became centre of news for a while. Though the incumbent TRS tried to use this as a tool against Opposition TDP and wanted to put TDP in a spot, the whole episode, towards the end is turning out to be in favour of TDP, feel political analysts .

They’re of the opinion that detections within TDP before Revanth Reddy episode would be high where every month one or two leaders from TTDP used to join TRS. TRS leaders either directly or indirectly tried to rope in other party leaders mostly TDP to join TRS. But after this vote-for-note episode not even a single leader from TRS is daring to woo or invite TDP leaders to join their party fearing of recording.

Meanwhile, Congress party too incidentally benefitted from the whole Revanth Reddy issue as it too saved few of its leaders who were eyeing at switch over of parties. Looks like, the whole ploy of TRS to put TDP in difficult position boomeranged and put TRS in a fix.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been on search for a land in Vijayawada, not for anything else but for setting up of Chiranjeevi Charitable trust’s new facility.

For the past 17 years, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) has been serving emergency medical needs like blood donation and eye donation for thousands of patients. In 2006, the then President of India Abdul Kalam laid foundation to the CCT’s new facility in Jubilee Hills. Now, the CCT is all set to be instituted in Vijayawada.

In a recent fans meet in Vijayawada, it has been revealed that already, the ground work to set up a new CCT building in the Navyandhra Pradesh’s chief city, Bezawada. Local fan’s association heads and fan bodies have been scouting for the right place and once it is located, Chiranjeevi will be consulting the government to discuss about the setting up of blood and eye banks.

In this fans meet, the association heads also said that Megastar has been taking a lot of time off from his political assignments and is concentrating on his social service and the much awaited 150th film. Also, strict decisions have been taken by the fans to act tough on those who try to create a gap between Megastar and his brother Pawan Kalyan.

First look of Tamilnadu’s Mass Superstar ‘Thala’ Ajith’s latest movie is released today and it’s just stunning. All these days this film is being called as #Thala56, as it happens to be his 56th movie. The film is finally titled “Vedhalam” and it features Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Ajith’s half-shaven head, salt and pepper look, that nut-stud to his ear, sparkling steel chains in neck and around wrist, make him look like the God of mass. Tamil fans are quite excited by this first look.

All Tamil films of Ajith that started with the letter ‘V’ are blockbusters incluidng Vaali, Villain, Varalaru, Veeram. We have to see if “Vedhalam” joins this gang. This film is directed by cinematographer Siva, who has earlier made Souryam and Shankam with Gopichand and Daruvu with Raviteja. He has previously directed Ajith’s Veeram. Currently this film’s first look is trending on social circuits like anything, making millions of Ajith fans utter happy.

Finding out that romantic films are his cup of tea, Naga Chaitanya has signed the remake of beautiful film “Premam” that was a runaway hit in Malayalam. For this movie, the lead heroine is creating huge interest in film circles. Because there are three heroines in the movie, and one Anupama Parameswaran is reprising her own role, while the one hero marries in the end is said to be lead girl.

Earlier the name of Parineeti Chopra splashed on news columns for this role, as the remake director Chandu Mondeti and his team approached this Bollywood lady for her Telugu debut. However, she has finally let the team knew that her dates are not available. And now, the producers are on the look out for another top starlet, and who could be a best bet than Shruti Haasan.

Our successful Gabbar Singh hottie hasn’t signed any Telugu movie despite the fact that she scored two blockbusters in a row, including Race Gurram and Srimanthudu. Niharika Konidela To Romance Naga Shourya

Ever since we broke the news of TV host and daughter of Naga Babu, Niharika Konidela, is all set to test her waters as heroine, there’s a lot of buzz, curiosity around her maiden film, maiden hero. Finally we again managed to crack the story. Putting several speculations to rest, it’s been confirmed that Konidela daughter is pairing up with none other than heartthrob Naga Shourya. Niharika has signed the film on the dotted line and an official announcement is made shortly.

The film is said to be an intense love story and it will be directed by acclaimed director Ramaraju who shot to fame with Mallela Theeramlo Sirimalle Chettu. The yet-to-be titled film will be produced by a top regional news channel which is foraying into production while the movie is co-produced by Madhura Sreedhar who is known for churning out youthful romances.

Apparently Niharika’s father and Mega Brother Naga Babu was bowled over by the story narrated by Ramaraju. The film is expected to be a splashy debut dpr Niharika. Though few star daughters tried their luck as heroines, they couldn’t make it big. Let’s hope Niharika Konidela will break the jinx and be a trailblazer. Let’s wait and watch.

A lot is heard and said about Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad these days. Thanks to the super success of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan at box office. He became a star writer now and cashing on that craze he’s directing a film in Bollywood circles.

Apparently Vijayendra Prasad himself announced that he’s coming up with a sex comedy that is centred around a heroine who searches for a right partner to lose her virginity. Gossips are flourishing that Sridevi’s daughter Janvi Kapoor is debuting as heroine in this film, while Dulquer Salman will play the protagonist.

However, Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor has rubbished off this news as a mere speculation. “She’s still young girl and not matured enough to become a heroine. Recenlty she has taken the first decision of her life. It takes some more time for Janvi to turn a heroine. Whatever you are hearing is just a speculation”, said Boney. So, no sex comedy for Janvi Kapoor. Any of her admirers disappointed?

The overseas rights for the much awaited entertainer ‘Subramanyam for Sale’ have been acquired by Classics Entertainments (USA). After his latest hit ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’, the very talented Sai Dharm Tej – the nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to present himself with a forthcoming action entertainer ‘Subramanyam for Sale’ along with leading ladies Regina Cassandra and Adah Sharma.

Classics Entertainments (USA) is releasing ‘Subramanyam for sale’ in 110+ locations in USA on 23 rd September. The distributors have decided to price the ticket (including the premier show) at $12 per ticket and $8 for kids, making it more convenient & reasonable for the movie lovers.

The film scheduled to release on September 23rd has been produced by one of the most successful film producers Dil Raju, under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Dil Raju has the ability to feel the pulse of the audience and always delivers movies with family values. Out of the 18 movies produced, he has seen several blockbusters and decent grossers.

The film has been directed by Harish Shankar who has delivered the super hit blockbuster/highest grosser Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun are current top heroes in Tollywood. Except for Bunny all the other leading actors scored industry hits. Curiously, all these stars have one industry hit each, nonetheless it has become like ‘Andani Draksha Pandu’ for Allu Arjun.

Although Jr NTR is yet to enter 50 crore club, he is first among the current top stars to join industry hit club with Simhadri. Since then, NTR is experimenting with different directors and subjects to attain another biggest blockbuster.

Ram Charan attained highest grosser record with his second film Magadheera that shattered all box office records. Then, it was Pawan Kalyan who broke the records with Trivikram Srinivas directed family entertainer Attarintiki Daredi.

Pokiri got mixed response on its first weekend, but the Mahesh Babu starrer and Puri Jagannath directorial picked from first Monday and went onto become an industry hit. Still, few records of the film are unbroken.

Recently, Prabhas set new boundaries in industry with Baahubali, which minted a share of Rs 300 crores worldwide. This is unattainable for any other upcoming films for sometime and trade pundits started a new trend of ‘Non-Baahubali’ records.

Coming to Allu Arjun, the energetic star has two 50 crore share films- Race Gurram and S/O Satyamurthy. Time has to say whether Bunny’s upcoming films like Sarainodu with Boyapati or any of his later films can get him an industry hit record, else Bunny will remain as a successful star hero, but not an industry hit hero. There is a lot of difference between these two.

‘Court’ Wins Over Baahubali, Srimanthudu

Well, this is not any legal battle, but the battle to get a chance to compete for a nomination at Academy Awards, or the famous Oscars as they were called. Director Chaitanya Tamhane’s Marathi film “Court” has beaten all the films in competition to became India’s official entry to the Oscars nominations.

Like it is written by many foreign film critics that this is the best ever film made by an Indian director, today Film Federation Of India Chairman Amol Palekar confirmed that “Court” is selected by the jury.

Coming to Telugu films, both “Baahubali” and “Srimanthudu” are watched by the jury, while many Telugu cinema lovers expressed confidence that Baahubali will be selected finally.

But as we said earlier, any film without a closed story (films with sequels) would not get a nomination for Oscars, even though if India picks as an official entry. Many cinema critics expressed that Tamil movie “Kaaka Muttai” would have been great entry, but “Court” is also not a bad choice.

Ever since Nara Lokesh stepped into active politics a couple of years ago, his rise in TDP has been phenomenal and in no time, Lokesh grew into a trusted lieutenant of his father and Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Now, Lokesh touched many hearts with his kind gesture towards 225 families belonging to lower castes which won immense respect for this young politician and turned him into the Messiah of the masses.

Since several decades, nearly 300 families belonging to the SC, ST and Minority communities have been living in the Jyothi Rao Phule Colony of Kolluru in Kurnool district. The poor families do not possess pattas for the plots they live in and this led to many anti-social elements and land grabbers who have been threatening them to vacate the area and even burned their houses to frighten them.

The previous government did not look into the poor people’s numerous pleas of allotting land pattas so they can own the plots and live peacefully. However, the 300 families met Nara Lokesh after TDP came into power and the young Nara scion immediately took up the matter with concerned authorities towards this long pending grievance.

Recently, 225 families have been given pattas and the rest of the families will also be given the pattas soon. With this touching deed by going all out for the poor, Lokesh won the hearts of not just these desperate families but also the common people. Mentioning about his deed, an emotional Lokesh said, “Nothing can buy the joy that shows in their eyes.”

Gone are the days where you say some mistake about a heroine but no one cares about much. These days from box office figures to the spelling of their names, heroines themselves are taking extra care.

Heroine Tamanna always takes care that her name is written as “Tamannaah” in the film titles. The other day a critic has tweeted a news about Samantha and he has spelled her name wrong, say ‘Samnatha’. Immediately our Chennai hottie quizzed, “Is that name of any new heroine?”. She might have done that on a lighter vein, but the message is stronger.

Similarly Rakul Preet Singh corrected a film critic’s tweet on social media that her middle name is ‘Preet’ but not ‘Preeth’. It took seconds for her to respond and correct in the public eye itself.

So, next time onwards take care about their names guys. Such are those beautiful names, how could we spell them wrong.
