INSIDE STORY: Rajamouli in total confusion!
As the magnum opus project Baahubali has raised the maverick director Rajamouli’s craze to peaks irrespective of language, the Star Bollywood Filmmaker is now introducing Rajamouli to the Bollywood audience with the interactive session titled “The Meeting Ground”. During this Rajamouli revealed his confusion and finally gave a clarity!
When Karan asked about which star would Rajamouli love to work with, Jakkanna briefly said “It’s always a story which compels me to approach a star. All the top heroes have certain qualities, so I should have a story which will be helpful for them and my story. The story will be drive me to cast someone and I don’t have a personal favourite. ”
He further added ” If I see ‘Company’, I wish to make a film with Ajay Devagan. While watching ‘Dabangg’, I would love to direct Salman Khan. If I see ‘Lagaan’, Then I want to make a film with Aamir Khan. If you ask which star I would like to work with, Then I will say the one who fits into my story perfectly.”
It looks like Rajamouli has got a clarity for his confusion!
Pawan predicts bigger wars between TS, AP
Popular Tollywood actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, who has the habit of making headlines one day and going back into slumber for months, has once again woken up to make comments on the political war going on between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments and come out with his own predictions.
Pawan, who heads a non-functional Jana Sena party, predicted on Monday that there were going to be irreparable inter-State wars in the coming years.
“Bhavi Tharala Madhya Thirigi Kolukonantha Antharyuddhalu Sambhavistayi’ (There are going to be irrecoverable wars between the future generations of two States),” he warned.
He said if the parents wake up by scolding each other, children would start the day with quarrels and said if the rulers behave like parents who scold each other in the morning, future generations would follow the example of children.
In his twitter, Pawan Kalyan stated: “Elders say, everything depends on the wisdom of the Ruler and let’s see how our leaders’ wisdom takes us forward in the near future. If needed, I might call for a press meet by the end of this week or in the beginning of next week to express my views on cash-for-vote case, phone-tapping and on Section 8 in the next two days.”
KCR, Naidu To Shake Hands Again?
If everything goes well, there is every possibility of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu will shake hands with each other once again on Tuesday.
According to official sources, both the Chief Ministers would be attending the dinner to be hosted by Governor E S L Narasimhan for President of India Pranab Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
The President, who arrived in Hyderabad on Monday, is scheduled to stay in Hyderabad, the joint capital of two Telugu States, until July 8.
Sources said both the Chief Ministers have confirmed their participation in the dinner programme.
It is learnt the Governor is taking initiative to arrange a meeting of Naidu and KCR in the presence of the President and the latter would try to bring about patch-up between the two.
KCR and Naidu have been at loggerheads ever since the infamous cash-for-vote scam surfaced last month. They have not been seeing eye to eye for quite some time and attacked each other in the worst possible language.
It remains to be seen whether they would come to any understanding on Tuesday.
Manchu Manoj Challenges His Bully
Of late, film stars seem to be in no mood to give in to the bullying ways of their trolls on the internet. First it was Vishakha Singh and Abhishek Bachchan and even our very own Swathi. Latest to join the list is the Rocking Manchu hero, Manoj. This morning, Manoj retweeted a fan’s tweet which congratulated Manoj’s sister and actress, Manchu Lakshmi, for winning the Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actor Female.
Soon, one of the cyber bullies tried to be over smart and tagged Manoj and Lakshmi and tweeted, “LOL paid awards”. Needless to say, this irked the doting Manchu brother and Manoj replied with composure saying, “Awesome then prove us by buying one :)”. This naturally made the bully realize his mistake and quit the conversation.
The recently concluded Filmfare south awards have been under the scanner for some really outlandish choices as the winners and numerous discussions have been carried out by media houses and film lovers. But when the criticism gets personal, no one will be ready to accept it, since keeping calm will only increase the menace.
What Did Rajamouli Learn From Baahubali?
After all the film took 500 plus days into the making of its first part and still there is 120 days of shoot remaining for the second part to be wrapped. Definitely these umpteen days of making might have taught the Mahismathi creator a lesson or town. Let’s meet the maker of “Baahubali” to hear what he says about the lessons learnt.
“One thing Baahubali has taught me is to have better planning before going on to sets. We have thought an year will be enough to make the film but it took 2.5 years and counting. If I’m little careful with planning, even after nailing out to all the minute details in a scene, the shoot would have got finished in lesser time”, says Rajamouli, talking about the first lesson he has learnt. There is another lesson, which he hasn’t learnt now but sharing it for others.
“Towards the end of shooting, while 20% of shoot is remaining, energy levels among cast and crew have dropped. Though I’m getting irritate inside, I’ve to put up an exciting face and energise and inspire them all. Probably any filmmaker should do that”, he adds. For now, those are the lessons from the giant. If you have something to learn from his movies, wait for July 10th.
Incorrect Logic Of Kodandaram And Rao
If the TRS is really keen on section 8 not being implemented in Hyderabad, then it should first keep its own band of men in control.
TRS Rajya Sabha MP Keshava Rao speaking on the issue of section 8 said, “According to section 8, Governor will have responsibilities and not powers.” That is a pretty absurd statement because one cannot have responsibility without authority.
Next in line is Kodandaram who says, “We accepted Section 8 as there was no other option at that time (he meant the passage of Telangana Bill).” This again is another dangerous statement.
What Kodandaram is implying is that they accepted section 8 for fear that protesting might block the Telangana bill entirely. This smacks then of opportunism.
You can’t agree with such an important section at one time and then completely deny it on another occasion. Such kinds of statements from seniors will only jeopardize the fight of KCR to get section 8 annulled.
Will Stefenson becomes “Pawn” in this game?
Vote to note case has turned many political twists and turns. High Court quashed nominated MLA Stefenson’s petition to move A-4 Mattaiah petition to another Bench. High Court is angry on Stefenson that MLA Stefenson misled the Court by submitting wrong affidavit. State Apex Court said that people have lost the confidence with Stefenson’s petition. Judge ordered the High Court registrar to file contempt of court under section 15 on Stefenson.
Judge said that court can’t consider media reports during the investigation. Stefenson spent two days with KCR in farm house. That give chance to TDP and others blamed KCR to influence Vote-to-note case directly. As per buzz, Stefenson filed “Not before Me” petition as per KCR’s directions. Now his petition was bounced back to Stefenson. What makes Stefenson to move the petition to another Judiciary Bench?
On the other side, AP Police is trying to nab Stefenson in Phone Tapping. If he really recorded Chief Minister CBN’s voice that had comes under phone tapping. AP Police may question Stefeson based on the complaint given by Mattiah. All these developments cause worrisome to Stefenson.
