Tollywood macho hunk Rana Daggubati is perhaps the most excited actor amongst the galaxy of stars in the biggest motion picture India could ever witness, Baahubali. The actor, within just a short time of his career, bagged the antagonist role Bhallaladeva in the film. For his character, Rana stuggled hard and beefed up his body, along with working out on his histrionics to match Rajamouli’s perfection.

Speaking at the audio launch today, Rana expressed his happiness over being a part of the film and said that he could not afford to miss the opportunity of playing Bhallaladeva’s role, which is on par with the powerful Ravanasura from the great Indian epic Ramayana.

Rana further expressed confidence on his character and said that Bhallaladeva will be a powerful answer to all those who expressed doubts on him playing a villain’s role and that too within just 3 years of his career. Rana signed off saying ‘Jai Mahishmathi’, the name of the kingdom that witnesses the epic battle between Rana as Bhallaladeva and Prabhas as Baahubali, who plays his brother.

One may hear such things from Heroes about our ‘sweety’, but now magnanimous director Rajamouli has joined the chorus to say that Anushka has broken his heart. Oh my god, how did his wife Rama felt hearing that? Before making any such conclusions, we need to listen to what Rajamouli said.

‘When I first narrated the story to Anushka, she got moved by the story. She felt stunned for the pain, she cried, she expressed anger towards Bhallaladeva character and wanted to kill him. I felt that she signed Baahubali because she got connected to it. But there is a twist’, said Rajamouli.

He unravels his heart-breaking episode this way: ‘When Tamil media questioned Anushka why she joined Baahubali team, she said that Rama and Srivalli are gonna enjoy this flick like picnic so she too joined them. That broke my heart. I felt Anushka joined this flick for my story, but she gave a shock saying that she joined the fleet of Baahubali for a picnic’, Rajamouli avers.

‘All these things apart – Anushka is a fantastic actress to work with and if I have to choose a heroine again and again, then it is Anushka’, Rajamouli concluded.

Fans of Rajamouli’s films still remember the innovative audio launch functions of his Maryada Ramanna and Eega. As usual of all his audio launch functions, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali too has been launched in a unique style. The audio launch took place in Tirupati amidst thousands of enthusiastic fans and with no chief guests invited for the celebrations.

During the today’s audio event, Baahubali team paid rich tributes to the most hardworking crew members of the film by displaying their photographs and praising their commitment. But it was the actual audio release that caught everyone’s attention. Rajamouli said that they did think about all the celebrities they could invite for the launch but eventually decided that only Prabhas’ fans will act as the chief guests.

Rajamouli then requested the fans to count the numbers down from 20 to 1 and when the highly excited fans roared 1, the huge LED screen displayed ‘Audio Released’. Rajamouli then thanked all the fans for launching the audio and signed off. Well, at last from today, fans can get drenched in the musical magic of Baahubali and can excitedly wait for the film’s release.

Leave ‘Baahubali’ aside, but how did the first meet between Rajamouli and Prabhas happened? More than talking about the magnanimity of the movie, our hero spoke at large about what he thought about Rajamouli after their first meet and there after.

‘Though Student No.1 is a hit, I’m not impressed about it. I conveyed the same to Rajamouli and rejected the idea of working together. But when Simhadri released, i’m shell shocked. That movie is a stunner and I felt embarrassed to meet Rajamouli again. I felt he will never work with me again because I rejected him initially. But Rajamouli is so great that he offered me his next, saying that he doesn’t mind the hit or flop status of the then unreleased Varsham’, said Prabhas.

Post that incident, we know how Prabhas and Rajamouli collaborated on Chatrapathi and now with Baahubali everything became a history. ‘Rajamouli said I’m his soulmate. But I’m not upto such mark. He is a very great person, I’m not that great’, maintains Prabhas, in his simple tone and posture.

This master perfectionist’s most ambitious dream, Baahubali, had its audio launch this evening in Tirupati with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Speaking on the occasion, Rajamouli paid rich tributes to all his cast and crew members.

Revealing the spirit of Ramya Krishna’s character, Sivagami, Rajamouli said that Ramya Krishna’s character is the driving energy of the film and thanked her for being a part of the film even after he went around other actresses before he chose her for the role. Jakkanna then talked about Kattappa, the Tamil star Satyaraj, and said that he was humbled and even felt guilty about the senior Tamil star’s kindness and down to earth nature. Showering equal praises on the legendary actor Nasser, Rajamouli said that Nasser is a co-student and remembered his Simhadri association with him and his classic words that meant a lot.

Speaking about the film’s beauties Tamannah and Anushka, Jakkanna said that Tamannah is a thorough professional and said that the milky beauty changed her costumes in freezing cold amidst snowfall in Bulgaria. Stating that he can work with Sweety Anushka for any number of times, Rajamouli said that only Anushka could have done justice to Devasena’s character and that Anushka was all fiery and intense eyed when he narrated the script to her.

The director then thanked his family members Vijayendra Prasad, Keeravani, Rama, Sri Valli, Karthikeya and the producers for being the pillars of strength behind his dream. Talking about Rana, Rajamouli said that Rana is the perfect choice for locking horns with a powerful man like Prabhas.

Coming to the hero of the film, Prabhas, Rajamouli said that the Young Rebel Star is his soul mate and that Prabhas trusted this epic project and that gave him the required boost all through these three years. Icing on the cake was Prabhas’ praise to Rajamouli when he said, ‘Darling meeru emi cinema teestunnaro telusa, not just a Telugu film but a gigantic epic.’

There are a lot of television channels these days and this has turned as a boon for the producers who are making the most of it.

Since there are so many channels, there is an on-going fight for TRPs and this is working in favour of the producers.

It is known that Baahubali audio function rights have been bought for Rs 1.5 crore by TV5. Now, the fight is on for Sreemanthudu audio rights.

Talk is that two channels have been fighting for these rights and that one channel has bagged it for Rs 1 crore.

Well, at least this has become yet another source of income for the producers.
