Senior Actor Suresh who recently made a comeback to films and is playing little character and negative roles is upset with maverick director, SS Rajamouli and his Baahubali. The actor on Sunday tweeted, “Will not support Mr.Rajamouli / #Bahubali coz he doesn’t think #jags or #suman or #Saikumar r good Enuff2 play character roles in his film (sic)”.

Suresh may be upset on Rajamouli for roping in other languages actors like Sathyaraj, Sudeep and others. But Rajamouli may have plan in his mind while roping that is to market the film in other states as it is being released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam simultaneously on a large scale.

However this non-cooperation from Suresh or any actor for that matter is likely to upset Baahubali as it is one of the most awaited films today. The movie had even garnered hype across the nation. Three years of hard work had gone in to the project and the movie is already creating never before seen records in Telugu film trade.

When Baahubali first volume’s overseas rights were bought for nine crores, eyebrows were raised looking at the guts of the buyer risking that much money on it.

Guess what? Now the buyer has already made three crores profit on the movie as they sold the movie to various regional distributors, exhibitors and third parties.

Pre release theatrical business for Bahubali – The Beginning in US has reportedly crossed 12 crores that it has to collect 2.4 Million Dollars gross to breakeven.

Not even single Telugu movie has done $2 Million business in US so far. But the investors are expecting Baahubali to collect more than 3 Million Dollars in US alone.

Aagadu has collected over half a million dollars from the premieres. Even Mahesh Babu’s flops are collecting Million and a half in US these days.

So the trade says that a film of Baahubali’s caliber can easily collect 3 Million Dollars if it reaches the expectations. Not just in overseas, the business for this film in the domestic circuit is shocking everyone. Third parties are coming forward to pay more than what Magadheera collected in that particular center.

As per trade estimates, Baahubali has chances to collect more than 60 crores share in its first week itself! So the buyers are not hesitating to risk any amount of money to bag the rights of this film.

Shraddha A Reserved Person Off-Screen?

New Delhi: She is known for portraying outgoing and expressive characters on-screen but actress Shraddha Kapoor says in real life she is a reserved person.

The 26-year-old actress made lukewarm debut with Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Teen Patti’ in 2010 but she got fame two years ago with her stint as a budding singer in ‘Aashiqui 2’, opposite rumoured boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur.

Shraddha, however, feels fame has not changed her reserved self much and she becomes a bundle of nerves whenever she is in public eye. “I am a shy person in real life. I am not very social person. The only people I open up to are my family and close friends. Over the years, I have become more vocal but at the core I am a reserved girl. Many a time I think that I should change myself and become more expressive. People keep telling me to be a certain way as I am an actor but if I don’t have anything to say I can’t… I come out as a shy, nervous person and a little out of place because I need time and my space to become comfortable with someone,” Shraddha told PTI.

The ‘Ek Villain’ star feels lucky that all those people in the industry whom she wanted to go up to and speak to, recognise her because of her work.

The finest example of this is her recent meeting with Bachchan. “I am much more comfortable around Mr Bachchan now. We met at Piku’s success bash and he met me so warmly. It was amazing. Back when I did ‘Teen Patti’, I was so nervous to face him,” she said. (PTI)

Jil Producers Follow Dil Raju’s Hit Formula

Dil Raju turned a big producer from a big distributor by finding new directors and making the right use of their talent. And then, he makes a film with minimum budget and gets a hit. Now, the producers of Jil, UV Creations, are also following Dil Raju’s formula.

Till date, UV Creations made Mirchi, Run Raja Run and Jil and new directors have worked for all the three films. And now they are planning two more films with director Sujith and Radhakrishna.

Usually many producers come for big stars and spend a lot of money and then get a big hit and vanish. With one flop, they go out of the industry. But production houses that find and encourage new talent and take their job seriously succeed in the long run.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film has been announced and it is being said that Puri will be directing the film.

On the other hand, it is being said that Puri has asked to take over entire production work. In fact, the same was done in the past by Ram Gopal Varma who made Rowdy with Rs 12 crores.

Apparently, Puri wants to do the same for megastars’ film as both Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi are not comfortable with production. Till date, it is known that Allu Arvind was involved in production work of mega family.

So, it is said that Puri proposed that megastar must give him the budget amount after setting aside his remuneration. But megastar is not too keen on this offer it is being said.

Well, it could be because Charmme could come into the picture if that happens. So will Charmme take up production of Varun Teja’s film next?

Revanth Comes Up With Smart Strategy

One does not know what the outcome of Revanth Reddy’s case is going to be. But he is not going to take any chances with the future of his family in politics.

Revanth has reportedly instructed his wife, Geeta Reddy to take charge of the Party activities in his constituency, Kodangal located in Mahabubnagar.

Geeta has already held a meeting with political leaders from her husband’s constituency and got a first-hand report on the developments in the constituency following her husband’s arrest.

She has decided to be available to the people and leaders in the constituency on a 24/7 basis and as a first step will be meeting the farmers and enquire into their grievances, a programme initiated by Revanth prior to his confinement. Being a woman, the sympathy factor will obviously work in her favor.

The perception will be that she is devotedly following in the footsteps of her husband, a man victimized for speaking out against KCR. Not a bad move by Revanth. Not a bad move at all!
