Ram Gopal Varma is now known for making films on shoe string budgets featuring wannabe stars. That none of them succeed at the box-office does not deter him from making more such kinds of films.

If cinema can be considered as a consumer product, then Varma’s movies are like ‘China Mobiles’. By the way, there is one movie which Varma started with Rajsekhar as hero, titled ‘Pattapagalu’.

Poor Rajsekhar who is desperate for a hit signed this film, if not for commercial success then at least for the credit of having worked with Varma.

The trailer of the movie was also released some time back. But the film has not yet been released. There was talk earlier that the movie was being reshot. But now there is absolutely no news regarding the project.

There is industry gossip that the movie might not release as there were differences of opinion between Varma and Rajsekhar. If that indeed is the truth, then the public owes Varma and Rajsekhar, a debt of gratitude.

Kamal Hassan had completed the shooting of his Vishwaroopam-2 a long ago. His Uttama Villain which was made after that, was already released and his other film, Papanasam is gearing up for release. But still Vishwaroopam-2 is not near any where.

Kamal Hassan faced huge issues before the release of Vishwaroopam and so he sold of Vishwaroopam-2 distribution rights to Aascar Ravichandran. However the senior producer is in deep financial crisis after the failure of Shankar’s I and is now unable to release Vishwaroopam-2.

Interacting with the media at a film festival recently, The Universal Hero admitted that giving away the distribution rights of Vishwaroopam 2 to an outside party is a big mistake and he now regrets doing that.

The movie is reportedly a bilingual and will go on floors from 27th of this month. Sources say that the actress will be seen in a complete glamorous role. Currently Esha is in Hyderabad preparing for her role. Sachin Joshi himself produces this film on his home banner.

Sachin Joshi recently made a comeback to Telugu films with Nee Jathaga Nenundali, the Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster film, Aashiqui 2. The movie did not work well at the box office and now he is starring in Ram Gopal Varma’s Mogalipuvvu.

It may be reminded that actor Junior NTR visited his cancer affected fan, Srinidhi few days ago at Ramdev Rao hospital, Kukatpally. The 10 years girl who was suffering from blood cancer from the last 3 years, finally passed away this morning. Sadly, that happened on NTR’s Birthday today.

The cancer is in the fourth stage and was spreading to her muscles and spine when NTR met her. Even though the actor offered to help for her treatment, the doctors have given up hope on her and stopped the treatment.

Finally she lost the battle to the deadly disease Her father, a school teacher had spent almost 12 Lakhs for her treatment and finally fullfilled her final wish by making NTR meet her.
