Congress Legislature Party deputy leader in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Thursday advised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to shift his base to AP’s new capital area at the earliest.

He also tried to deprive Telangana its share of water from Krishna River. Now he is trying to encroach upon Telangana’s right to conduct EAMCET for its students,” he said. Asking the AP Chief Minister to leave Hyderabad as soon as possible, Shabbir Ali said Naidu should accept the reality that Andhra Pradesh has been bifurcated and now Telangana is an independent State.
Therefore, he should not try to sabotage the interest of Telangana. He said Naidu should start operating form the new capital area as it might develop that region.

Speaking to mediapersons at Assembly media point on Thursday, Gutha advised KTR to give respect to elders and behave in a dignified manner instead of stooping to make personal remarks on Opposition leaders.
Responding to KTR’s comment earlier that Gutha had miserably failed to develop his constituency during previous governments, Gutha reiterated that several developmental programs had been undertaken by successive Congress governments.
He also admitted that TDP also implemented welfare programs in the State. The MP also charged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with encouraging defections by admitting Congress legislators into TRS. “Maintain some moral values in politics and don’t try to ruin Opposition parties”, he advised KCR.

In fact, a distributor from Trichy region of Tamilnadu revealed that he has purchased the distribution rights of Superstar Rajni’s latest flick ‘Lingaa’ for 8 crores but theatrical collections yielded him only 2.4 crores share.
As producers of the flick are not even responding the pleas made by distributors to save them by returning their investment back, they are now getting ready for a hunger strike in Chennai which they have scheduled it earlier.
‘Our intention is not to defame Rajnikanth, but he needs to understand that Lingaa producer is not even caring about us. Rajni has to intervene and solve our financial crisis. We lost almost 70% on the movie. Will Rajni not react now?’, a distributor named Singaravadivelan asked.
Directed by K S Ravikumar, this December 12th release was written a flop on the very first show itself. Though the director wished that Rajni’s stamina will reap fruits during Christmas holidays, nothing such happened.

Alludu Seenu Super Hit on Small Screen

Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is all smiles as all his efforts of launching his son Bellamkonda Sreenivas have paid off finally. Sreenivas’ maiden movie Alludu Seenu turned out to be “super hit” on small screen. The film was aired on a leading entertainment channel on Dec 28 (Sunday) and what’s surprising is that it said to have got a huge TRP of 16.91.
This figure is way too high given that Sreenivas is debut hero. Despite being his launch movie, Suresh pumped in a lot of money for roping in star cast alongside newcomer. While Suresh paid a hefty pay cheque for Samantha to pair up with Sreenivas, he also paid a fancy remuneration for Tamanna who sizzled in a spicy item number.
Above all, Suresh even gifted a stately house to ace director VV Vinayak for wielding the megaphone for his son’s debut. The big-budget movie has high production values and rich visuals and no one could deny this. In fact, the film pushed Suresh into financial woes as it only had an average run at the Box Office.
With the latest talk of Super Hit on TV, Suresh’s efforts paid off as his son Sreenivas reached out to large crowds through TV which in turn bring craze for his next. He will be seen in a film with director Boyapati Sreenu after which he will work with director Bheemineni.

Andhra Producer Behind Stalling of Shankar’s I

Share
While the whole film industry and movie buffs are shocked with the sudden stalling of Shankar’s magnum opus I and yet to come to terms with the Madras High Court’s decision, not many know that a leading film producer and distributor from Andhra Pradesh is behind this.
Prasad V Potluri, who also finances for high-budget films besides producing and distributing them, has reportedly lent money to the Aascar Ravichandran for the massive budget. The film’s budget is estimated at close to Rs 200 Crore and PVP said to have doled out some crores for the film.
As per the agreement, the producers have to settle the deal before the film’s release but in vain. With this, PVP knocked the high court’s doors which directed the makers to halt the movie release before giving proper assurance. This pushed the film’s release to three weeks later (as of now) making way for Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh’s Gopala Gopala.
