May is the known to be the season of weddings. This year we have seen it becoming a wedding season for Telugu film industry as well. Manchu Manoj and Allari Naresh are already engaged and are going to get married in this month itself.

And now there is a new addition to this list. Naveen Chandra of Andala Rakshasi fame is also getting married this month. The actor himself confirmed this when he attended Allari Naresh’s James Bond Audio Function on Thursday.

We have learnt that Naveen Chandra’s marriage is an arranged marriage and the girl has no link to film industry whatsoever. The details of the marriage and the date of the ceremony is yet to be known. However we join our readers in congratulating Naveen Chandra in this new innings of life.

Senior Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is in deep trouble for the past few months. He is in deep financial troubles with the failure of Rabhasa and the over budget of his son’s Alludu Seenu. He even struggled to release Ganga. Finally the movie’s success brought him the much needed relief.

On the other side, his son, Srinivas who managed to make an impression on audience with his debut movie, Alludu Seenu, was to act in a film directed by Boyapati Srinu but the movie was shelved before the shooting began.

He recently started another film in the direction of Bheemineni Srinivas Rao and now okayed another film with a debut director Ravarthi Ramesh. Both the films are likely to release in this year itself. So good times seem to have started for Bellamkonda family.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger already have sizzling beauties Tamannah and Raashi Khanna to increase the temperature of youth and masses. The movie team made yet another addition to the project by roping in Aksha for an important role. The movie unit says that she got a performance based role once again just like in Ram’s Kandireega.

Currently the movie is being canned in Ramoji film city. Some talkie and two songs will be shot in this schedule which will go on till June 15th. Sampath Nandi who was supposed to direct Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh-2, came back to Ravi Teja with Bengal Tiger after Pawan’s refusal. It is said that Ravi Teja will be playing a police officer in this film too. Tamannah and Raashi Khanna are the female leads in this project.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 18 September 2015 coinciding with Vinayaka Chaviti. KK Radha Mohan will be producing the film under his Sri Satya Sai Arts banner. He earlier produced Sampath Nandi’s debut movie, Emaindhi Eevela which was a big hit back then.

Comedy King Allari Naresh began a new innings by crooning for a song for his upcoming comedy entertainer, James Bond. Naresh sang a song which is a funky club number which suggests present day youth not to get married. Interestingly the song was recorded a day after Allari Naresh’s engagement.

James Bond comes with a caption ‘Nenu Kadhu Naa Pellam’ and has Sakshi Chowdary who made her debut with Manchu Manoj’s Potugadu, playing the female lead. Sai Kishore Macha, a protege of Srinu Vaitla is making is debut as the director.

Ramabrahmam Sunkara is the producer. Allari Naresh will be seen as a guy, who marries a girl, who is a gangster. The audio has been composed young music composer Sai Kartheek and Popular production house, AK Entertainments, is lolling out money bags for this film.

Our readers are aware that Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be seen as a stuntman in his next directed by Srinu Vaitla. Earlier the makers have planned to title the film ‘My Name is Raju’ but now they say they are also considering to name it as ‘Bruce Lee’ as they feel it is more apt to the script. Final decision regarding this is pending with Chiranjeevi.

The movie unit is currently heading to Europe for the shooting of 3 songs there. So much of home work had gone in to this project. Ram Charan made sure that Kona Venkat and Gopimohan are back to Srinu Vaitla’s stable after that Aagadu breakup. Srinu Vaitla is very determined to be back on success track after that failure of Aagadu.

Rakul Preet Singh is the lead lady in this film. The movie unit is planning to release the film for October 15th to cash the Dussehra holidays. DVV Danayya will be lolling out the money bags for this project under his Universal Movies Banner. Thaman is the music composer.

Rumours are rife that Nayantara is the lucky girl who will be romancing Megastar Chiranjeevi in his 150th film to be directed by Puri Jagannadh. However we have learnt that the news is not true at least for now. We managed to speak to few people close to Puri regarding this and they say it is false.

“Puri Sir is still working on the script and as of now, the cast is not confirmed. Nayantara was not approached till now. And, at this point, it’s too early to even talk about who’ll play this lead role opposite Chiranjeevi”, said the source. So we have to wait further to get a clarity on this.

Ram Charan himself will be producing this monumental film. Interestingly Ramcharan’s debut film ‘Chiruta’ was directed by Puri Jagannadh and his first film as a producer will be also directed by the same Director. The film will have a grand launch on August 22nd, the Birthday of Chiranjeevi and it will start rolling from September 2nd which happens to be the Birthday of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. The team targets January 14th 2016 release as Sankranthi Special.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Lion had surprised even the experts by taking a wonderful start at the box office despite the poor hype and negative talk. The movie collected about 5.5 Crore on its first day in both the Telugu States.

Had there been Benefit shows in Guntur and Ceeded as planned (cancelled due to financial issues), the figures would have been even better. Remember these are strong hold areas of the actor. The film if held today will have the weekend advantage. Here is the breakup of Lion First day collections:

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Lion had released yesterday and fizzed out at the box office. The actor had shifted his focus on to his next project now with out taking any rest The film directed by ‘Loukyam’ fame Srivas will have its launch in the third week of this month and the regular shooting will begin after Balayya completes his promotional commitments of Lion.

This is the 99th film of Balakrishna’s career. Rumours are rife that Dictator is the title in consideration. Srivas who garnered a super success with Loukyam will be wielding megaphone for this project. The script is said to be based on Mafia backdrop.

Famous writers duo – Kona Venkat and Gopimohan will be working for the first time with Balayya. Eros International will be producing this film. Nayantara, Anjali and Hansika are in consideration to be the heroines. More details of the project are awaited.
