Usman Khan Is India’s Big Catch After Kasab
In what is seen as India’s big catch after getting hold of terrorist Ajmal Kasab alive, security forces caught a LeT (Lashkar-e-Toiba) terrorist alive. After several hours of intense gunbattle in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur, security personnel caught LeT terrorist. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Usman Khan and he is resident of Faisalabad in Pakistan. This is said to be a major blow to Pakistan which has been claiming its innocence over terror attacks in India.
According to Intelligence reports, Usman Khan had infiltrated into India along with four other LeT terrorists few days ago. After entering into India, the group split into two. Out of 5, three were killed during attack at Dinanagar in Gurdaspur district of Punjab on July 27 and two other including Usman Khan were waiting at another location to attack.
On Wednesday, Usman and the other terrorist, attacked Border Security Force (BSF) convoy in Narsoo in Udhampur, killing two soldiers and injuring eight others. In the ensuing gunbattle, BSF troopers killed one terrorist while Usman fled into the dense forests by taking three locals as hostage. However, security forces foiled Usman’s plan and nabbed him with the support of locals.
Intelligence reports add that Usman and his group were motivated by Pak army, ISI to do attacks against India. The four terrorists killed earlier were identified as fidayeen (suicide attackers). Indian government has got a shot in the arm by catching Usman Khan alive. Looks like, Pak is in more trouble.
Srimanthudu Tickets Are Hot Cakes!
With only one day left for the grand gala release of Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu, there is a heavy demand for the tickets in India and abroad. “Especially, Mahesh has great charisma in the United States. The response for the tickets of Premier on 6th sold like hot cakes. As soon as the online booking was opened, almost all the tickets were sold in no time. This shows Mahesh Babu’s craze abroad,” said Sudheer who is distributing the film in US.
And the situation is no different in AP and Telangana either. Apparently, producers are under heavy pressure as many are asking them for tickets. Since it’s a wholesome family entertainer laced with commercial aspects, people are thronging to get tickets to catch the film with families.
Due to great pre-release business, producers Naveen, Ravi and Mohan are laughing all the way to the bank. After stupendous success of Mirchi, Koratala Siva is directing the film and hence expectations are way too high. Shruti Haasan is seen as Mahesh love interest for the first time. So, let’s wait and watch for the final verdict.
‘Jagan Is A Part-Time Criminal’
Andhra Pradesh state’s Minister of Health, Kamineni Srinivas has lashed out at the YSRCP Chief and the leader of opposition, YS Jagan. Calling YSRCP’s presence in the state as a misfortune of the people, the minister said that a part-time criminal is leading the main opposition in the state.
Earlier today, the minister was at a health camp in Challapalli mandal of Krishna district. Rubbishing the news of viral fevers in the surrounding villages, the minister said that Jagan and his party men have been propagating false rumors of viral fevers and other diseases after even small reports of normal fever.
The minister also said that the government will continue to work until the absolute prevention of fevers and other seasonal diseases in the districts. Assuring of complete aid from the government, Minister Srinivas asked the people but to worry about the false propaganda by YSRCP Chief and his cadres.
Childhood Friend Dies; Will KCR Help His Family?
Childhood friend of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, C Rajaiah, passed away following a prolonged illness. Rajaiah had been suffering from paralysis for a while and breathed his last on Tuesday in Dubbaka Mandal of Medak district. Rajaiah and KCR were childhood friends where the duo studied ini Dubbaka Government High School upto 9th class and said to have good rapport.
Rajaiah is survived by wife Munemma, a son and a daughter. Apparently, Rajaiah-Munemma’s daughter was mentally retarded. With the demise of Rajaiah, the family is said to be in financial trouble. Sarpanch Kanakavva has urged CM KCR to help Rajaiah’s family.
It needs to be seen how the Telangana government would support Rajaiah’s family. KCR sir, are you reading?
Exclusive: Pawan Kalyan’s son with Mahesh Babu
The unthinkable has happened. In a rarity, Pawan Kalyan-Renu Desai’s son Akira Nandan has met Superstar Mahesh Babu. Apparently it wasn’t planned and the duo happened to meet by chance. Akira and Mahesh bumped into each other on Tuesday at the waiting lounge in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, Hyderabad.
Mahesh Babu was going to Chennai for the audio launch of Selvandhan, Tamil version of Srimanthudu on Aug 4. It’s when both met each other and posed for the priceless picture. What’s more? Akira said to have wished Mahesh a grand success of Srimanthudu which is slated for Aug 7 release. Mahesh too all smiles as the wishes came from son of his good friend Pawan.
Confirming the same, Renu Desai took to Twitter to clarify that Akira has met Mahesh Babu neither at a shooting location nor at a residence. She wrote, “Akira’s pic with Mahesh garu has been taken at the Hyderabad airport yesterday in the waiting lounge. Not at any residence or shoot 🙂 “
Confirmed : Siva To Direct NTR’s Next
After tasting a blockbuster success with his debut film Mirchi, writer and director Koratala Siva planned to make his second film with NTR. Siva even narrated a story to NTR but the Young Tiger wasn’t entirely convinced with the story and suggested a few changes. After much dilly-dallying and a lot of wait, NTR and Siva decided to move on to their next projects.
Recently, several reports did frantic rounds in film and media circles, which said that NTR has given his nod to the Telugu remake of long delayed Kaththi. Squashing all the rumours finally, close sources have let the cat out of the bag. As per a reliable source in the known, NTR will next team up with Koratala Siva after he finishes Sukumar’s film.
The sources further say that the film will be produced by the producers at Mythri Movie Makers, who produced the soon to be released Srimanthudu, starring Mahesh Babu. While not much info is available regarding the film’s storyline and other details, fans can be sure of a wholesome entertainer. Let’s wait for the official announcement.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devesthanams (TTD) has finally found a solution for never ending physical share certificates sans transfer forms dropped in the hundi.
Over the years, A lot of Devotees who wish to contribute a portion of their earnings to Lord Balaji used to drop physical shares in the hundi. TTD Officials could transfer those shares to the temple management only if the devotee attaches a transfer form to it.
To overcome this hurdle, TTD opened a Demat account of Lord Venkateswara Swamy with the Stock Holding Corporation of India (SHCIL). This first of its kind facility in the World permits devotees with Demat account to transfer their shares to Lord Balaji’s Demat account 1601010000384828 through off-market transaction from anywhere in the World.
TTD expects the revenues of Tirumala Temple to increase tremendously with the latest move. Particularly, The Temple Authorities were hopeful of receiving huge amount of shares as offering to the Lord by devotees while floating new companies as many consider it to be auspicious.
