Celebs Over-Reacting On ‘Porn Ban’

Even several Bollywood celebs took to their social networking pages to join millions of protesting Indians.
Eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma said, “Now they have just banned porn but very soon the Government might come into the bedroom to see how couples are having sex.” National Award arriving director, who is a staunch anti-establishment, said. “Dear govt of India. Abolish Article 21 and shut those who say your ban on porn is unconstitutional.”
Popular music composer and singer and AAP leader, Vishal Dadlani tweeted, “I wouldn’t be surprised (about the pornban). Ironically, banned by the same party whose MPs were caught watching porn in parliament.” Even Modi’s loyalist and BJP supporter, Chetan Bhagat tweeted against the ban, “Porn ban is anti-freedom, impractical, not enforceable. Politically not very smart too. avoidable. Let’s not manage people’s private lives.”
Even the Bollywood divas are not far behind. Sonam Kapoor, the fashionista and actress tweeted, “Ban idiots who think banning things is going to make a difference to Indian mentality..” The recently married Minnisha Lamba said that the government may soon ban even books, TV etc.

Kids Crying After Watching Baahubali
Baahubali, The Beginning, became a legend in time as it stormed into the mighty 500 crore club within a record time. That’s the biggest grossing ever for a South Indian film and it’s records are known to everyone. Majority of the film’s success credit goes to family audiences who are watching the film repeatedly with their kids. Do you know how their kids are feeling after watching this magnum opus? They are crying. Yes, they are.
Rajamouli has delivered a complete family package with “Baahubali” as he has carved out scenes and sequences for all age groups. Most interestingly, Kids are enjoying the scenes featuring Sivudu character in the first half while Kalakeya battle is their next favourite. For them it looks like a war video-game on xbox or Playstation where hero enters villains web and kills him finally.
But after watching the climax, they are able to understand that the film is still pending and they have to watch Baahubali 2 aka Baahubali: The Conclusion for knowing the rest of story. These kids are said to forcing their parents to take them to Baahubali 2 also.
Though parents are trying to convince them that the second part hasn’t released, kids are in no mood to listen and they are crying non-stop. This is a situation which Rajamouli would have also not anticipated. With kids and families so connected to Baahubali ending and waiting for the Kattappa twist to unfold, no doubt Baahubali 2 is going to become ano
Puli’s Emotional Roar Touches Fans
One of the most. insanely popular stars down south, Ilayathapathy Vijay is a man of few words and always lets his films speak. The hugely admired mass star made several interesting and praiseworthy details about him and the film industry, during the audio launch of his socio-fantasy film, Puli.
Vijay first thanked all the cast and crew members of Puli without forgetting even a single person. Calling the film a ‘first of its kind attempt’ in Tamil cinema, Vijay said that he had been longing to act in such films since many years. It was after the formal talk that Vijay’s speech turned serious and emotional.
Vijay deeply moved all his crazy fans when he revealed that he had faced numerous embarrassments before he tasted success. He then said that he only knows how to hate truly but didn’t know how to love falsely. Fans went bonkers when Vijay said that he and his fans only know how to let others live and even asked his fans, “what say, friends?”
The Ilayathapathy also targeted the pirates as he said that film piracy is like infanticide. Vijay said that he is speaking on behalf of the entire film industry and not just his own film. He even appealed to pirates to let thousands of families dependant on films survive. It is well known that Puli’s first look stills and trailer have been leaked by pirates a day before their release. Puli will release in Tamil and Telugu in September.
Sachin’s Goa Beer For Telugu States
Yes, Sachin is gearing up his new beer to Telugu states within a few months. He wants everyone to enjoy the taste of this new alcohol brand named “Goa King’s”, which is a quite popular brand in Goa. Those who have been to this Konkan state already knew about this famous beer, more famous for its bottle shape, and they could get it now in Hyderabad and Vizag too.
Recently actor Sachin Joshi’s Viikings Groups has signed a pact with Impala Distillery that manufactures and sells the brand beer, Goa King’s. Their deal is said to be valid for 20 years, and for the next 20 years Sachin will sell this beer in AP, Telangana and Karnataka, starting with Maharashtra from August 16th.
The stubby glass bottle shape of this beer is quite famous and we could see loads of those empty bottles in many Goa beaches. We have to see what plans Sachin has to promote this beer in Telugu states.
At a time when many people are demanding alcohol ban, celebs like Mahesh Babu and Raviteja have endorsed for the ‘Cassettes and CDs’ of alcohol brands, while Sachin Joshi is bringing alcohol itself.
Who Will Be The Powerful ‘Prataaparudrudu’
The tides of “Baahubali” have taken Tollywood by a storm already. And then we have “Rudramadevi” lined up for September 4th release to double the excitement. This has been a season of epic films as Tamil hero Vijay’s “Puli” has also joined this big list. However, the epic grandeur is going to next level with “Baahubali 2” as Rajamouli wants to give major punch with the second part of the story.
What could be joining such a bigger league is a sequel to the story of Kakatiya Kingdom’s legacy and greatness, which already made its way to silver screen through director-producer’s magnum opus. Reportedly this director is mulling over to come up with a sequel that could have much more impact.
It will be based on the story of Rudrama’s grandson Prataaparudra, who has conquered up to Kerala and Tamilnadu down south, and successfully curbed the violent attacks of Delhi Sultans from the north in 14th century. Already Gunasekhar got the title, Prataaparudrudu, The last emperor, registered with film chamber.
As Rudramadevi is inching for a release, seems like Gunasekhar is gearing up for the massive pre-production of the sequel, whose shooting will start upon a star hero finalised to play the lead role. Depending on the success of Rudramadevi, maybe our star heroes will choose to play or not play Prataaparudra on silver screen. We hear that Guna wants this film even to become Megastar Chiru’s 150th movie. Watch this space for updates.
It’s 7th Class Friendship With Cherry
Recently on the eve of Friendship Day, young hero Sharwanand has explained how good it is to be friends with Tollywood’s reigning star Ram Charan. He reiterated that this mega hero is one selfless guy who goes to any extent for friendship. As they say that any friendship will become permanent after 7 years of existence, Sarwa claims that they crossed that barrier long back.
“Me and Ram Charan are friends since 7th class. Never in my life, Charan has shown the attitude that he is son of Mega Star. That’s his greatness. He’s always there for friends and we hangout regularly whenever time permits“, says Sharwanand, who is busy shooting for his next “Express Raja” under Merlapaka Gandhi’s direction.
“Charan doesn’t even know that I’m trying in films, but after he came to know through another friend, he made me act with Chiranjeevi garu in a TV commercial. And then the rest of story is known to everyone“, he added. “We’re friends from 7th class and crossed this 7 years of friendship long back, say 20 years, so this is a permanent relation for this life”
There are certain friendships in Tollywood that are beyond any family background, community based affinities and any other. Charan, Sarwa and Rana are one among them, while Naresh, Kayyum, Manoj and Nani too form another such group. Great going folks!!
Rajamouli Opens Mouth On ‘Copying’
Time and again, Rajamouli faced these plagiarism charges whenever his new movie comes out. The famous 100 members fight in Magadheera was accused to be a blatant copy of 300 movie’s war scenes, while the infant-boy poster of Baahubali is mere rip off ‘The Simon Birch” poster, they say. On these whole accusations, Rajamouli tried to clarify.
Speaking with a leading news channel in a special interview, Rajamouli said, “What I’ve done in all these years is not a copy of other’s work. Maybe I’ve some few scenes and shots copied”. In a way he agrees that he copied, but not intentionally, only as some shots he watched years back linger in his mind.
“While growing up I’ve watched many Hollywood films, and now that I’m making films, sometimes I get to insert scenes from those films rather unknowingly”, he adds. Jakkanna explained that the shot where Sivudu keeps his foot on Kattappa’s head is actually copied from Hollywood movie based on Genghis Khan (1965 release). “Not many noticed that it’s a copied shot, but several other original shots got attention from people”, laughs Rajamouli.
At the moment, Baahubali is inching deep into 500 crores club and could be seen as the best possible entry to Oscars from India. However Rajamouli is quick enough to claim that he’s not expecting any Academy Award for the film.
