Watch Rudhramma Devi in 3D only with glasses!
Earlier there were news that Gunasekhar is bringing up a new technology with Rudhramma Devi with which the audience will be able to watch the movie in 3D with out wearing the special glasses. They said this will enable to watch the movie with 3D experience even in 2D theaters.
However Gunasekhar now clarified that he is not using that technology now. He clarified that the technology is still in a very early stage and will take time to be implemented. So, as of now Rudhramma Devi will release in 3D only in select cinemas having that technology.
Rudhramma Devi is marked for September 4th release. The movie is said to be India’s historical stereoscopic 3D film in which Anushka will play the title role while Rana will play the role of Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, the prince of Nidavardhyapuram (Present Nidadavole).
Ram Charan off to Bangkok
Mega Power Star Ram Charan had flown to Bangkok last night along with the team of his next directed by Srinu Vaitla. The team will be having a 10 days schedule there in which they will can the climax and a song patch work there.
The makers have announced October 15th as the release day on the eve of Dussehra. To complete the movie in time, they will have to race against time. Dussehra release is important of the movie as it will have holidays advantage.
The first look poster and the title announcement is likely to take place on August 22nd as Chiranjeevi Birthday Special. DVV Danayya is lolling out the money bags for this project under his Universal Movies Banner. Thaman is the music composer in the film in which Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead.
Naga Chaitanya in Action mode!
Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is currently in Chennai shooting for his next film directed by Gautam Menon. The ace Tamil director is currently shooting for an action sequence of the movie there. This is the second combination of Chaitanya and GVM after Yem Maaya Chesave.
The movie shooting is already 50% complete. The action sequences of the film are said to be the major highlight of the movie. Malayalam heroine Manjima Mohan is making her Telugu debut with this film.
The movie is a bilingual and the Tamil version has Simbu playing the lead role. Ravindra Reddy is producing the film in Telugu under his Dwaraka Creations banner while Kona Venkat is co-producing it. AR Rahman is scoring the music.
Once a star director, now starting a new innings!
Jayanth C.Paranji is one director who had worked with nearly all big heroes in Telugu including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas and his filmography includes super hits like Preminchukundam Raa, Bavagaru Bagunnara, Lakshmi Narasimha.
His last film in Telugu was Teen Maar with Pawan Kalyan 2 years ago. The movie did not do well at the box office and Jayanth was stranded at the cross roads with out any offers. The director tried his hand in Kannada too.
And now Jayanth is contemplating to make a comeback to Telugu Cinema. He had managed to convince a hero to do a film which is touted to be an action thriller. The movie will be announced very soon. We will have to see if he finds success some how in his second innings.
Venkatesh recalls his lucky charm!
Lakshmi and Tulasi are land mark films in Victory Venkatesh’s career. The films back then are big hits and are the biggest grossers in Venkatesh at that time. Interestingly Nayantara is the female lead in both the films.
Now the actor is bringing back his lucky charm after several years. She is roped in to play the female lead in his next under the direction of Onamalu and Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju fame Kranthi Madhav.
The film will begin formally from August 14th and the regular shooting of the movie will follow. The shooting will go non-stop till completion and the movie will be released in the first half of 2016.The project will be produced by Parchuri Prasad under U Square movies banner.
Baahubali: The 400 Crores Master Piece
Just within two weeks after its release at box office, Baahabali, the magnum opus created by SS Rajamouli, has collected nearly 391+ crores gross from the worldwide box office. Collecting 10 more crores in next two days isn’t a big thing with this weekend seeing no other big release at box office. So, Baahubali is officially the only 400 Crore club Member in India for the now.
After two weeks of run at box office, the film’s collection are going steady and it amassed nearly 331+ crores gross in India alone. That makes the film get nearly 180 crores share, which is so far the highest any Indian film has ever got for distributors in the country. As the film’s Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam versions are successfully scoring a brownie, this humongous collection is made possible.
If Baahubali crosses the coveted 400 crore mark then there will be only two films ahead of it, PK (730 Cr gross) and Dhoom 3 (540 Cr gross). If Baahubali gets an international release in foreign languages, then no doubt Dhoom 3 collection would get beaten easily. By chance if Rajamouli’s creation makes it to China and Japan, then PK record will also get into trouble.
Drushyam Actress Complaints On Nude Video
Looks like the season of fake nude videos of actresses going viral doesn’t seem to stop any soon. Joining a long list of actresses like Radhika Apte, Lakshmi Menon, Sonia Agarwal etc now is the popular Malayali actress and Dancer Asha Sarath, who played the Inspector’s role in the original version of Drushyam in Malayalam.
For the last few days, an alleged nude video of Asha Sarath has been in circulation on WhatsApp. Today, the actress lodged a complaint at the Kochi Police Conmissionerate. The actress also released a press note today in which she said, ‘This was a purposeful act of defamation; police have handed over the details to cyber cell. I will go ahead legally that it defamed me and my family.”
Asha Sarath further said that the cyber crime police may not track down the culprits, but her complaint will serve a strict warning to cyber bullies in the future. The police stated that the clip doesn’t feature Asha Sarath, but her name was prominent in the video’s description. Asha was also seen in Kamal Haasan’s Tamil remake of Drushyam, Papanasam.

Even after entering its third week run, India’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali continues to rake in all the moolah, despite the biggest threat from Salman Khan’s Bajarangi Bhaijaan. The film has collected more than 400 crores at the box-office worldwide including all its versions and now looks to give a tough competition to Aamir Khan’s PK, India’s all-time highest grosser with 700 plus crores.
Meanwhile, Baahubali has been appreciated by almost all the movie connoisseurs from across the globe, which includes numerous top film and political celebs. Now, Baahubali has floored the union cabinet ministers, who watched the film in a special premiere. Finance Minister Arun Jaitely and Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore watched the film along with their families recently and could not stop raving about the film.
Both Jaitely and Rathore heaped praises on Baahubali and drenched the film’s director Rajamouli and the lead actor Prabhas, who stunned everyone with his ferocious performance as Baahubali. Rajyavarthan went on to call Baahubali an epic film and was short of words in admiring the film’s stunning VFX.
