Last Sunday saw a never seen before intense contest between the two warring groups in Tollywood in the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) elections. For the first time ever, elections took place in the exhibitors sector. While the Producer’s sector had Suresh Babu’s panel winning the contest over the rebelling Natti Kumar panel.

Suresh Babu was then elected President of TFCC unanimously by all the elected 16 exhibitors. However, Natti Kumar and Prasanna Kumar organised a press conference today and said that Suresh Babu’s victory margin was only 7 votes and that Suresh Babu’s panel resorted to rigging to win the election.

Alleging further, Natti Kumar said that Suresh Babu’s panel lost the contest on moral ground since anti incumbency was evident against them. Natti Kumar also said that they will continue the opposing distribution and exhibition monopoly of the bigwigs who are troubling the small film producers.
