Yesterday, Bollywood hit machine Salman Khan’s latest film, Bajarangi Bhaijaan was released to sensational blockbuster reports and trade analysts are predicting that the film will collect nothing less than 30-32 crores on its debut day. The film has once again reiterated the fact that Salman Khan is the country’s biggest superstar in terms of box office collections.

Usually, almost all of Salman’s films are high of loud mass masala scenes, pulsating action episodes that even get too monotonous and ridiculous at times. However this time, Bhai’s fans and critics have been talking about the story in Bajarangi Bhaijaan, and a major credit should go to Tollywood’s senior writer, Vijayendra Prasad.

Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote Baahubali, has also penned the screenplay for Bajarangi Bhaijaan, apart from providing the story. The film is about a deep spirited man’s resilience to accompany a little, mute Pakistani girl to her home. The emotional appeal in the film has wrenched the hearts of Bhai’s fans, who were until now used to hardcore masala movies.

Interestingly, Baahubali has crossed the lifetime collections of Ram Charan’s industry hit Magadheera all in three days. While Magadheera collected close to 145 crores (all versions included), Baahubali has so far collected more than 115 crores in Telugu alone and the world wide collections of the film including all the versions touched upto 275 crores.

If the latest media reports are to be believed, the TDP coordinator of cadre welfare fund, Nara Lokesh, is all set to take an additional and the biggest responsibility of helming the TDP in AP. The reports further say that Lokesh will be the party’s in-charge and that the party’s head office will be shifted to Guntur very soon.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu has clarified once again that Jana Sena founder and well-known actor Pawan Kalyan is his political friend.

He had said that during his meeting with the MPs as and made it clear to the MPs that they are not meant to make any negative statements against Pawan Kalyan and reiterated that Pawan was their friend.

Babu also made it clear that there will always be people who would criticize, but such people need to be answered he said.

Meanwhile, talking to media, Union Minister Sujana Choudhary made it clear that Pawan Kalyan was an ally to TDP and made it clear that the party did not have any differences with him and said that the party will consider his suggestions as and when needed.

Chennai: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not a part of filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s yet-untitled Tamil directorial, which features Karthi and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, said a source.

“Mani sir is yet to finalise heroines for his next project. Contrary to the rumours, Aishwarya Rai will not be a part of the film,” a source told IANS.

The regular shooting of this project will start from December.

“The film was supposed to start from September. But since Dulquer has started a Malayalam film with director Rajeev Ravi, the team will wait for him to complete it,” the source said.

Aishwarya, who has earlier worked with Ratnam in films like “Iruvar”, “Guru” and “Raavan”, is meanwhile busy shooting for her comeback film “Jazbaa”.

Prabhas sharing the details said “My mother was very happy with Part 1, but like all other mothers, she has asked me to be careful while shooting Baahubali Part 2 and not be involved for so many days. However, shooting is halfway through.”

Baahubali 2 shooting will commence from September and director Rajamouli already went on vacation. Prabhas too revealing his vacation plans said “Most of us are now planning to go on a holiday for a few days.

I too have planned a short trip to Europe with my friends,” On his friends he said “Five friends from my school and college days. They were with me in Mumbai too. We are always together and some of them are also associated with me professionally… The short break in Europe will rejuvenate me for Baahubali 2.”
