Sometime back, Telugu leading producer Dil Raju planned to remake Malayalam super hit movie, Bangalore Days, in Telugu with Samantha, Siddhartha and others. As Samantha and Siddhartha, the real life couple broke up, the movie’s cast went through many changes and the film got delayed.

Meanwhile, PVP Cinema began the Tamil version with Rana as one of the leading heroes in the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar.  Dil Raju seems to have come to conclusion that the movie will not be viable in Telugu now, so the Tamil version will be dubbed into our language.

As Rana now become a hot property, the makers are also planning to release the film in Hindi.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali is shattering all the records that come its way at the box office. The movie had amassed about 52 Crore only in the Telugu states in the five days of its release and the Worldwide share is already nearing 100 Crore. The movie is improving in all the languages as days pass by.

For an instance the collections of the Hindi version are better on Tuesday than Hindi. It is the case also with Tamil and Malayalam too. However Ramzan this Friday will get the movie multiple results. For the Telugu version, it will be a huge advantage as there is a long holiday weekend and there are no other new releases in Telugu this Friday.

However the movie will lose most of its theaters to the new releases in Hindi and Tamil this Friday. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is releasing in Bollywood this Friday while Dhanush’s Maari is releasing in Tamil. Both these films are big ticket films and will be releasing in good number of theaters. Baahubali is likely to get affected as a result. We will have to see what will be the extent of the damage.

Actor Suriya is set to team up with Telugu filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas for a yet-untitled Telugu-Tamil bilingual, which is most likely to go on the floor next year. “Trivikram has already been given the advance for the project.

It will go on the floor after Suriya completes shooting for his upcoming films ’24’, ‘Singam 3’ and a yet-untitled film with the ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ director,” a source close to the development told IANS. Suriya is currently shooting for Tamil thriller “24” with “Manam” director Vikram Kumar.

He is expected to start shooting for the third part in the “Singam” franchise from September. “His project with Trivikram will most likely go on floors mid next year. By then, he should be relieved off all his existing projects,” the source said.

Caught in a web of controversies, Bengali girl Swetha Basu Prasad who made it big with Kotha Bangaru Lokam has become a front page news recently. While courts acquitted this talented actress from all the charges, somehow the whole incident has resulted in a blame game where she has to face few brickbats.

Rather running after movie assignments post her release from detention centre, Swetha Basu Prasad has decided to continue as script consultant at director Anurag Kashyap’s office Phantom Films in Mumbai.

Generally it is said that people who face arch lights and taste that celebrity status can’t retire to some office side jobs as their heart always craves to comeback to screen again and again. For that reason, many heroines end up doing haphazard and lifeless roles during the fag end of their career.

“No offers that are coming my way are exciting me. That’s why I’m not in a hurry to take up such roles”, says Swetha, confirming that she is having no greed to don makeup again and again. Anyway many filmmakers are exploring only her juicy skin show side but not giving any scope for serious performance.

Probably talking too much on film circuits very realistically is one negative quality that always hits hot anchor Anasuya badly. Earlier she was in a bowl of controversy after quipping that she didn’t do Pawan Kalyan’s film Attarintiki Daredi because there is nothing much for her to do in that film. After that controversy died off, here comes a new one.

In a recent interview with a Youtube based channel, Anasuya said, “After watching Gangotri movie I felt like why anyone would become a hero if they are just from mega hero? He is quite awkward in that langa-voni look and his dances are alarming. But the way he transformed with Arya is amazing“.

These revelations however created a storm of online fights between fans and some have abused Anausuya quite badly. As the abusive comments kept flooding, finally the talented anchor got the video removed and instead posted another ‘clarification’ video where she explained her feelings.

“I’ve just expressed my feeling as I’m quite expressive. In neither way I meant to hurt Bunny or his fans. Today I’m Bunny’s hardcore fan and even my husband feels jealous. If fans want to tell me something, they could do that in a smooth and pleasing way too rather abusing with cuss words. I’m a woman, a wife and an actor, so please give some respect and follow good manners“, Anasuya stressed.

Fans however felt that like the way Anasuya has became too expressive, even they are also becoming expressive after listening to her words. “She would have said, ‘Bunny is quite dim and non-heroic in Gangotri but transformed to a stylish star later.

How come Anasuya says that she felt how come anyone from mega family would become a hero? Even if not from mega family, anyone could become hero if people are convinced. If Anasuya changes her style of expressing things, then abusing from fans will subside”, a popular mega fan questioned.

This will be quite bigger statement, because Megastar Chiranjeevi’s landmark 150th film is no doubt a mighty film but it might not be on the scale of “Baahubali”. Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma however believes that the 150th movie should be bigger than this Rajamouli’s creation in order to satisfy mega fans.

“Megastar’s 150th has to be biggest ever and makers should not make mistake of making it lesser than Bahubali or it can be Mega disappointment“, says Varma. Is this a genuine opinion or something to tease mega fans, which he always does?

Further the director added, “The seven year anxious and hungry wait of all fans of Mega can be only satisfied if the 150th is bigger than the biggest which is Bahubali“. Even if RGV is genuine in his comments, nowhere this is close to reality.

Critics say, “Megastar could make his 150th film ten times bigger than Baahubali but that happens only if he gives 3 years of his dates to Rajamouli. Is that going to happen? With Puri Jagan fixed as director already and Rajamouli busy for 1.5 years more, there is now way that would happen“.
