Kareena ‘Lucky Charm’ For Salman’s Family?
Kareena Kapoor Khan has starred in the debut ventures of Salman Khan’s family members. It is because of this that she doesn’t deny being a ‘lucky charm’ for them!
At a promotional event for “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, in which Kareena stars with Salman, she said: “When he offered me this role in his debut (Bollywood) production (under the banner Salman Khan Films), I thought it was great. And my producer is looking into the fact that I look beautiful in the film.
“It’s strange when Alvira (Salman’s sister) turned producer with Atul (Agnihotri) in ‘Bodyguard’, I was in the film. And when Arbaaz (Salman’s brother) turned director with ‘Dabangg 2’, I was in the song ‘Fevicol’. And now in Salman’s first production, again I’ll be there. So we have a great track record. I wouldn’t deny that I’m a lucky charm for them.”
Salman’s past productions have included “Chillar Party”, which he produced under SKBH Productions, and “Dr. Cabbie”, an Indo-Canadian project.
Court shocks former MP Harsha Kumar
Former MP GV.Harsha Kumar prior to Andhra Pradesh bifurcation used to be active in politics. During that time he even advocated separate Andhra movement attracting the wrath of people of Andhra Pradesh.
Now this former MP from Amalapuram got shock from court. Third Additional Magistrate Court of Rajamundry fined Harsha Kumar Rs 1000 Rs and even sentenced him to sxi month jail term for preventing police do their duty.
Police instead of following court orders arrested him and released him on bail on the same day. On Feb 27,2007, Harsha Kumar allegedly entered Three Town Police Station in Rajamundry and manhandled ASI Satyanarayana before forcibly taking his followers who were detained for violating 144 section.
Police imposed section 144 after Karem Shivaji,president of Mala Mahanadu went on fast unto death strike.
Baahubali heavily inspired from Mahabharatam
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is all set for a grand release on July 10th in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil languages. Prabhas, Rana and Tamannah are busy promoting the film aggressively in Mumbai while Rajamouli is busy in Hyderabad supervising the post production works. In one of the interviews, Rana revealed the story line of the film.
Baahubali is the story of two cousins who wants to lay a stake on the throne of a Kingdom. While the noble Baahubali (played by Prabhas) gives everything for righteousness, the wicked Bhallaladeva (Played by Rana) is ready to do every thing for the throne. One glance at the story, we can clearly say the movie had uncanny resemblance to Mahabharatam.
Both Pandavas and Kauravas fought for the kingdom despite being cousins. The resemblance will end there and Rajamouli had added some part of fiction to the film. Prabhas will be seen in the dual role as father and son. Despite being a very simple story line, the movie has high dose of Rajamouli mark emotions and intensity. Like every Rajamouli film so far, Baahubali success also depends on the emotions in the film.
The movie is being made in two parts and the second part will see the light next year. Both the films cost 250 Crore to the makers making the movie costliest venture in India. Three years of hard work had gone in to the project and the movie is already creating never before seen records in Telugu film trade. 17 VFX studios with 600 artists are working for Baahubali on double shifts. Prabhas had pinned high hopes on the film to catapult him to the next level.
Baahubali Storyline Revealed
SS Rajamouli is Tollywood’s Most successful director with almost 100% success. However Rajamouli often has this habit of revealing his film stories much in advance because his films do not have innovative stories but their success rely on the emotions and intensity Rajamouli creates in audience while watching them.
Same is the case with Baahubali too. The story line of the movie was revealed well in advance by Rana Daggubati in one of the media interviews in Mumbai.According to that, Baahubali is the tussle between two brothers – Baahubali (Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Rana).
Both of them compete for the throne. While Baahubali is a noble man who stands for values while Bhallaladeva is a wicked man who goes to any extent to grab power. Baahubali is the costliest film ever made on Telugu Screen.

Telangana Requests 42 Platoons Of AP Police
There are few things which happen than what meets the eye. After raising a hue and cry regarding the presence of Andhra Pradesh Police in Hyderabad, there is now a formal request which was made by the Government of Telangana. The ministers of TS should also speak about in public.
According to reports, the TS government has reportedly requested AP for the services of 42 police platoons which would be utilized by Telangana government until they are able to recruit their own platoons since Hyderabad is a common capital. AP officials feel TS remembers this only when they have a need.
So the prevalent opinion is that when it is very much convenient to them, Telangana remembers the fact that Hyderabad is a common capital and otherwise not. Also, one can only acknowledge the decision by T-government even as its Minister Mahender Reddy thunders what is the business of AP police in Hyderabad.
On one hand, they want the CM of AP arrested and on the other hand, they place request for the services of AP Police. Although Telangana has never offered such assistance to AP on any issue it has to be seen how AP would respond. However sources say that keeping politics aside, TS and AP police have cordial relations as they are still colleagues.
Mugdha, Rahul To Go Public About Their Relationship
Rahul Dev played the bad boy and the comic villain in quite a few Telugu films like Ram Charan’s Raccha, Mass, etc.
Last year, his lady love Mugdha Godse had spoken about her relationship with him and said that he was someone she could count on and that he was more than friend to her.
However, after that, the two haven’t spoken about their relationship till now and neither did they show up at public events together so far.

Only He Could’ve Taken ‘Baahubali’ Pan-India: Prabhas
The Hindi version of S.S. Rajamouli’s epic film “Baahubali”, will be presented by the powerhouse of Bollywood, Karan Johar. The movie’s lead actor Prabhas Raju says only a banner as big as Dharma Productions could have ensured a mammoth release for the movie.
Prabhas said: “It’s an honour for the entire ‘Baahubali’ team to be associated with Karan Johar as he is the biggest name in the country as a producer and director with his brand Dharma Productions.”
“The reach that Dharma Productions has given this film, no one else can give it. We have the best product with us but it is only because of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions that ‘Baahubali’ is going to reach everywhere in the country,” he added.
The film is an epic action drama, which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati in key roles.
