Producer Bandla Ganesh seem to be in a big mess now. Sachin Joshi’s Viking Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd had initiated criminal and Civil Proceedings against Ganesh. Going in to details, Sachin and Ganesh entered in to an agreement for Nee Jathaga Nenundali.

While Sachin will invest the money, Ganesh should take care of the production and distribution. However he is said to have cheated Sachin with inflated rates in production and under reporting in distribution. Sachin realized this after the movie release.

Some settlement was done during the making of Temper but Ganesh also failed to adhere to that. And some of his cheques given to Sachin have bounced back. So the legal cases are finally unleashed for cheating and cheque bounce. Sources say that the evidences are very strong and Ganesh may even land in jail in this case.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam team is on a hunt for the lead heroine in their movie. First they have zeroed in on Rakul Preet Singh but are looking beyond her as she is very busy and may not allocate dates to her liking.

They are not being able find another heroine behind Mahesh and may be finalizing Samantha once again. We are said that she is almost confirmed pending the signing of the agreement. This will be the hattrick combination of Mahesh Babu and Samantha.

Earlier they have teamed up for Dookudu and Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The movie is expected to start rolling from July 10th in Vijayawada.

Mahesh will take a short break for Srimanthudu promotion and then the shooting will go non-stop till completion and will be stated for release on January 8th, 2016 on the eve of Sankranthi 2016. Potluri Vara Prasad will be producing the film which has Mickey J.Meyer as the music composer.

The makers of Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu arranged a pressmeet short while ago and revealed their new release plans. They have changed their plans regarding the July 17th release and now the movie will be releasing on August 7th on the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s Birthday.

The audio release which was supposed to take place this month end, is now pushed to July 18th. Which means now both Baahubali as well as Srimanthudu will have solo releases at the box office. Director Koratala Siva said that the movie is an extraordinary family drama.

The entire shooting part including the patch work will be completed by June 27th. The first look teaser of the film which released recently had set high expectations on the movie. Mahesh fans are crest fallen on this postponement news.

Since yesterday, there have been rumours which say that a song from Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu has been leaked online. While not many could listen to the song or find the link, fans have been upset about the alleged leak. However, quickly reacting to the rumours, the makers of Srimanthudu officially denied the leak.

Reacting on their official Twitter page, the makers said, ‘Hearing news about a possibly leaked song from #Srimanthudu, Please note that it isn’t from our movie!” With this clarification, fans indeed breathed a huge sigh of relief and again continued to wait for the audio launch. Meanwhile, another news has been doing the rounds on social media.

It has become a huge menace for most big budget films to protect their films, songs and even the first looks from being leaked online. Even before everyone could forget Atharintiki Dharedhi’s leak before its release, another much anticipated film, Baahubali, too met with a similar fate when 12 minute raw footage and even songs of the film were leaked online.

They were thick friends once. Now they barely see eye to eye. Although on public forums, they praise each other but inside their offices, only ‘thitlu’ fly. We are talking about actor-producer Kalyan Ram and star director Surender Reddy.

The bone of contention is the budget of their big film, ‘Kick 2’ starring Ravi Teja and Rakul Preet Singh.

Ravi Teja’s market is in the range of Rs 25 Crs – 30 Crores (maximum). But the budget of ‘Kick 2’ reportedly shot up to Rs 38 crores.

Kalyan Ram has been blaming Surender Reddy for spending excessively, not considering the market. Distributors who agreed to pay certain amount to areas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have reduced their price.

Added to this, the film has landed in another problem. As ‘Baahubali’ releasing on July 10th and ‘Srimanthudu’ in the same month, distributors are not in favour of releasing the ‘Kick 2’ this month or July. This is like adding salt to injury for Kalyan Ram.

Initially, Kalyan Ram and Surender Reddy wanted the movie to release on May 7th, same day their ‘Atanokkade’ released 10 years ago. Since then the movie got postponed.

While Kalyan Ram blames Surender Reddy for over budget, Surender Reddy puts blame on Kalyan Ram for postponing the movie constantly. After the intervention of mutual friends they have now patched up but some discordant notes are still visible.

Kalyan Ram’s biggest success in his career is ‘Atanokkade’ until ‘Paatas’ happened. It was with ‘Atanokkade’ Surender Reddy debuted as director.

Surender Reddy landed in top league of directors with Allu Arjun movie ‘Racegurram’. Kalyan Ram planned ‘Kick 2’ to gain some good profits by making with reasonable budget.

Insiders say the movie has come out so well with strong comedy and Rakul’s glamour. Hence this excess budget and fight between Kalyan Ram and Surender Reddy will not be a hindrance to the success of ‘Kick 2’. Hope it ends on a happy note.

For the first of its kind, a Telugu film has gone all the way to renowned Cannes Film Festival and unveiled its poster there. The film in question is none other than “The Golden Triangle” which has been hitting the headlines for sometime now. The film is being directed by child prodigy Master Kishan Srikanth who is now 19-year-old.

Kishan has wielded the megaphone at the age of 9 for “C/o Footpath” and bagged Guinness Book of World records as the youngest filmmaker. He was adjudged with the National Film Award for his work. Although he was born and brought up in Bengaluru, his ancestral roots are in Andhra Pradesh as his grandfather was a poet belonging to Anantapur.

Simultaneously made in Telugu, English and Hindi,the high-budgeted flick is pumping in over Rs 70 Crore. What’s more? They’re on the verge of signing a top Telugu star for this international film. Besides this, already top notch Hollywood technicians and cast have been zeroed in on for the prestigious project.

Eric Curtis who was director of photography for films like Terminator Salvation and Transporter 2, Choreographer Longinus Fernandes of Slumdog Millionaire and Eat Pray Love fame. Hollywood actors Jeremy Williams and Catherine Delaloye (Fast and Furious 6) are acting in the film.

Tipped to be an action drama, the movie is being produced by  Satish Reddy, Rizwan Khan and Dinesh Chugh and is being made in made in both 2D and Imax 3D.

A special screening of Bollywood flick ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ directed by Mohit Suri was arranged for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav recently. Film’s lead Vidya Balan, Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Akhilesh’s Wife Dimple Yadav were also present for the screening.

The film is about a single mother (Vidya Balan) who waits for her husband (Rajkumar Rao) who went missing to return home since 5 years. In the meantime, Vidya falls in love with Emraan Hashmi who works as a floral manager. The sequence of incidents after Rajkumar Rao’s return to home makes it an engaging film.

Akhilesh Yadav connected well with the under-current emotion in the movie. After watching it, Country’s Youngest CM has issued orders permitting ‘Tax Exemption’ for ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ in Uttar Pradesh.

‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ collected Rs 22.47 crore in the Domestic Market in 5 Days. Mahesh Bhatt claims response for the emotional drama has been phenomenal and especially the women of this country received it well.
