Undavalli praises Chandrababu, what’s up?

Share
With the rather irrational bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the politics in Telugu regions have undergone a seismic change which is unable to even imagine under normal circumstances. The arch political rivals are now trying to wave white flags at each other.
Now it is the turn of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his protégé Ramoji Rao’s bête noire Undavalli Arun Kumar who seems to be in reconciliation mode with TDP regime for reasons which are unclear.
During a meeting recently Undavalli praised Chandrababu saying he is the right person to lead a state like AP which is facing many challenges post division of the state and added that he has the mettle to lead from the front.
However, he sounded a note of caution over special status and proposed capital region saying Naidu has to be careful about. With Congress getting vanished as of now and no scope to get close to Jagan given his attitude, many veterans are showing a neutral stance towards Chandrababu off late.

Thota Manikanta, 22-Year-Old Driver & a native Ramavarrapadu in Vijayawada, emerged as a real hero after giving a new life to 8 persons by donating his vital organs to patients in Guntur, Hyderabad and Chennai Hospitals.
After he met with an accident on March 3rd, Manikanta was declared by doctors as brain dead and his Sister Shiva Nagajyothi (working as a Nurse) given her consent to donate the organs saying his brother who is a die-hard fan of Pawan Kalyan was always open to help others.
Actor Shivaji met Thota Manikanta’s Family on Wednesday to console them and offered Rs 1 lakh financial assistance. He also promised to offer Rs 1 lakh per year from now onwards to the bereaved family. “Its very inspiring. What they have done has paved a way for new beginning.
This Family made a name for themselves in the History. Whatever we do is very little before the sacrifice they have done and big heart these people have,” he told, while speaking to reporters. When Shivaji asked Manikanta’s Mother whether the Family received any financial assistance in return, She replied – ‘We aren’t thinking about future.
I wish to see the photos of people whose, lives were saved by my Son’. Shivaji assured a House to Manikanta’s Family through a Central Scheme and necessary financial assistance from the State Government.

1 lakh CCTV cameras to be installed in Hyderabad

The Telangana government plans to install at least one lakh closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in Hyderabad as a part of its efforts to make Telangana safest and secure state in the country. This was announced in the state’s first full-fledged budget for 2015-16 presented in the state assembly on Wednesday by Finance Minister E. Rajender.
He said all the cameras will be connected to the proposed command and control centre of the police. This is expected to be the biggest project of its kind in the country and is aimed at ensuring round-the-clock international standard surveillance system and strengthening security in this tech hub, which witnessed few terror attacks during the last eight years.
The CCTV cameras will be installed in the limits of both Hyderabad and the adjacent Cyberabad police commissionerate, which covers the Information Technology hub of Cyberabad, home to many global giants including Microsoft and Google.
The CCTV project is expected to help police to map every inch of the capital city, which houses several vital defence and research installations. The CCTV cameras will be installed at public places such as places of worship, educational institutions, bus stops, malls, hotels and railway stations.
In December, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police M. Mahendar Reddy on Monday had said that 10,000 cameras will be installed at a cost of Rs.600 crore. He stated that the technology will act as a force multiplier and help in checking crime and violation of traffic rules.
He had also said that by using the existing CCTV cameras, the city police solved 90 percent of the crimes in the last six months.

S/O Satyamurthy On April 2 Or 8?

Share
Of late, it has become a trend of sorts to keep the release date of a big film under wraps. Though a date is floated around, the actual release is being planned for another date. For example, NTR’s recent release had the same problem.
About two dates were announced before it finally relea, sed on a totally different date. Now, there is confusion regarding the release date of S/O Satyamurthy. Earlier, it was initially said that the film would release on April 2, now it is being said that it will release on April 8.
Incidentally, the film’s release date will coincide with Bunny’s birthday and the exhibitors who bought the film inform that the release date will be April 8. On the other hand, Gopichand’s Jill is scheduled for March 27 release.
At least, it is said that Dil Raju who bought the Nizam rights for Jill is requesting the producers to release the film on March 27. So, both the films will have a gap of two weeks which will work in favour of both the films.
Ironically, Rey producer YVS Choudhary has also decided to release Rey on March 27. Though there is speculation about the release date even now and it also remains to be seen if Rey and Jill will clash at the box office.
With all these adjustments, it remains to be seen when Rudrama Devi’s slot will be fixed as the film-makers are trying to schedule it at least two weeks prior to Baahubali’s release.

‘Not Capital City… Mental Hospital Can Be Built There’

Share
Blame it on the heat in general or the heat around the building of new capital city, looks like all politicians are having a field day making headline-making statements. For now, it is the turn of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu to say something so strange.
Reacting to the constant comments being made that the capital city should have been developed in forest lands instead of snatching land from hapless farmers in the capital zone, Chandra Babu said that forest lands were not conducive for capital city.
Speaking at length in the state Assembly, he said that those lands were best for the construction of a mental hospital. Though one is not sure as to what exactly he meant by that, he went on to add that the farmers were giving up their lands voluntarily.
Babu further said that he will always be indebted to them for their support and promised that apart from giving them appropriate financial compensation, he will also make sure that they be given whatever extra facilities possible.
He said that the area was ear-marked after visiting and checking out the feasibility of various other areas and that he will keep his promise of building a capital with world-class infrastructure.
The Andhra Pradesh CM also pointed that AP was the only state with which Japan signed an MoU. He of course could not resist adding that Singaporeans gave him the same support and respect even when he was in opposition.

Opinion: Please God, No!

Demands are once again surfacing in TDP quarters for the new capital to be named after NT Rama Rao. This proposal was first initiated by Nandamuri Balakrishna, son of NTR and sycophants are quickly latching on to it. (Interestingly, Balakrishna chose to side with Chandrababu Naidu when the latter dismantled NTR in a coup).
The silver lining is that Chandrababu himself is believed to be not too keen on the idea. Are the Telugu people so bereft of legendary personalities that they have to stoop down to a person like NTR to name the new capital after? Is there no one in Telugu history, politics or culture better than NTR?
Why not the name of Potti Sreeramulu garu whose sacrifice made possible the formation of Andhra Pradesh? Why not the name of Sri Krishna Deva Raya? There are hundreds of such luminaries! Why then NTR? Just because he is the father of Balayya and the founder of TDP which is currently in power?
And is NTR a person with a blemish less character? He had umpteen numbers of corruption cases against him not to mention allegations of his involvement in the murders of Vangaveeti Ranga and Pingali Dasaratha Ram apart from his patronage of factionists like Paritala Ravi.
NTR is a God to his community because he might have brought them to economic and political prosperity, but to the rest of the Telugus, he is just another politician and a very good actor. Period! His projection into a demi-god is largely on account of the mass media which again is controlled by his community.
Surely, the Telugu people deserve better respect than to be insulted by having the new capital named after NTR, if and when it is constructed.

Hansika, Tamanna Bond Mid-Air

Just at a time when women are demanding that women must respect each other and must not look at each other as competition, comes this picture that Hansika tweeted today morning.
Apparently, the buxom girl found being seated next to Tamanna on the flight and confesses they hit it off instantly.
Well, since both of them can converse in Hindi, it could have been one other triggering point. Also, both are doing big films and have acted with common co-stars.
Naturally, the girls are bound to have a lot in common to bitch about and laugh about. Looks like male actors, we will see hot heroines bonding big time world over in times to come.

‘Such Pictures Shock Me’

Of late, various social media sites like Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, etc, are full of images of violence against women and girls in various parts of India and around the world.
Also, one gets to see how animals are ill-treated, poached and various acts of violence that are part of every day life are posted with graphic images. Seeing all of them on a daily basis, hurts her sensitive soul says top actress Samantha.
She says she prefers reading books, watching good films and listening to music than reading about such incidents. The acts of cruelty against animals particularly disturb her says she. But Samantha confesses that she is absolutely scared of shooting with snakes and says she is happy that she never had to go through such shots.
Apparently, even huge money will not tempt her to shoot with a reptile crawling all over her.

KCR insulting OU Students who fought for Telangana ?

None can forget the contribution of students of Osmania University in the agitation for Telangana statehood. Students played key role and whenever politicians from all parties tried to put the statehood issue on the backburner, students used to take huge protests and ensured Telangna movement didnot lose its steam.
Now the same students who contributed in Telangana agitation feel Telagnana CM KCR and ruling TRS party is insulting them with its discriminating policy. Telangana Government much to the shock gave permission to prosecute M.Krishank, student leader in a case registered against him in 2012 during which OU students took out protests.
Students now fear others who protested too will face the same consequences now as TRS government is planning to protect only students who are part of Telangana Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi Vibhag (TRSVV),its students wing. It was pointed out that TRS immediately dropped all charges against Balka Suman who became MP.
Manvata Rai,state president, National Students Union of India, the student wing of the Congress says “I have 150 cases slapped against me and all are up for hearing at the Vth sessions court, Nampally.
The legal process is taking its course and all student leaders could soon face prosecution if the government does not drop cases,“. J Kalyan, state vice president of Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of BJP says “Over 400 student leaders of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and NSUI still have 50 to 100 charges against them for participat ing in the separate statehood agitation for over two years.
OU student leaders apprehend government’s plan to wipe out their presence on campuses in the 10 districts. “ Worried OU students are planning to take protest march on March 15 on OU campus and then take Chalo Assembly rally on 22 March.

Pic Talk: Cancer Patient waiting for Gabbar Singh-2!

Film Worship is almost equivalent to a religion in Telugu States. There are many people who take film stars as demigods and worship them. Some call it madness and some call it worship. But we come across numerous people as such daily.
In the picture above is a kid who is a diehard fan of Pawan Kalyan and he wants to see Gabbar Singh-2 before he dies. The photograph with the kid carrying the poster about his last wish of seeing Gabbar Singh-2 before he dies is doing rounds in the social networking sites.
We are not sure if it reached to Pawan Kalyan who recently joined Twitter. On the other Side, Gabbar Singh-2 is not at all near the start even after years of preproduction. The movie was on papers for the last two years with out much progress.
Earlier the movie had its launch with director Sampath Nandi but later the director was shown door from the project. And another director Bobby who made a successful debut with Ravi Teja’s Power was brought in to the project.
It is said that Pawan Kalyan himself provided story for Gabbar Singh-2. He asked Bobby to provide the screenplay for the story. However Bobby’s work did not manage to impress Pawan Kalyan even after several trials.
It is said that Pawan Kalyan had decided to show Bobby exit from this project. He also reportedly put this project on hold for some days and he accepted Dasari Narayana Rao’s film in its place. In such case, the kid’s last wish may not be fulfilled.
