Keen to bounce their opinion at the earliest, few half-baked potatoes often spread venom in film circles and such things have engulfed ‘Baahubali’ too. On the day when YouTube has taken down the film’s Telugu trailer citing spam and deceptive content, fans started spreading a whole new idea.

It is being accused that fans of some opponent heroes who are feeling jealous of Prabhas’ success as Baahubali have intentionally spread spam to affect the chances of trailer. Reacting on these allegations, those opponent fans started throwing that the movie producers resorted to using spam tricks to generate hits. But folks, both parties need to tone down because the truth is something else.

There are these automated bots that use a trending topic and start spreading some unwanted links to twitter followers. It is found that such non-sense accounts are tweeting a lot about this flick with same line ‘Baahubali trailer crosses 1 million views in less than 48 hours’ and then giving some wrong link each time for users to click. This spam had led to the automatic removal of YouTube by its software. These bots generating such fake links are neither created by fans nor by producers, and this spam-scam has nothing to do with any cine lover in India.

Time for fans of various heroes to stop silly wars and start patronising a film that is truly bigger than life and expensive like never before.

And the week that falls later, Srimanthudu booked July 17th. Just two weeks will be seriously tough for Kick 2 to see miracles, even if its blockbuster. Hope the team gets best #Kick.

It happens to be Ram Charan’s second flick in Telugu, and that went on to become an industry hit. This young hero’s energy and performance coupled with Rajamouli’s creativity had resulted in a stupendous box office success. Had Allu Arvind listened more to Rajamouli in this connection, the profits would have shot up.

Like the way Baahubali is being planned for a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, even Magadheera was supposed to hit Tamil screens on same day. Somehow Allu Arvind is heard delaying the tamil release and it took almost 2 years for him to bring the dubbed version ‘Maveeran’ to screens. The film has just clocked two crores and sank without any trace.

‘Had we released the film at the earliest, with better dubbing and quality mixing, then result would have been different’, says Rajamouli. That’s the reason he is rushing to release Baahubali in four languages at same time, as Keeravani could give a fantastic output all at once rather repeating process for each tinsel town at later times.

But the below average show of Magadheera in Tamil is going to hurt Rajamouli forever, if we have to read from his statements. Maybe Allu Arvind should have believed his director rather his own instincts which any way made him the king of blockbusters.

Giving a momentum to the online distribution, Manchu Vishnu has come up with an appreciable strategy. The actor cum producer decided to release his upcoming production, Sampoornesh starrer Singham 123, on the internet on the same day of its release. The film will be made available from tomorrow on a web portal exclusively for overseas viewers.

Viewers can pay a nominal fee and enjoy the film with entire family and friends on their laptops or Smart TVs. This pay per view concept is slowly catching up in Tollywood and the last film that explored this online distribution was Nara Rohith’s Rowdy Fellow. However, this system is yet to gain support from traditional distributors in Tollywood who allege that online release may result in piracy which directly affects the film’s collections all over.

Online distribution overseas doesn’t involve the usual distribution logistics and often is a single window platform that enables the filmmakers earn whatever the film manages to collect. This is primarily a big boon to small filmmakers, who cannot afford an overseas distributor as their films contain no star value.

Chennai: Contrary to the reports, actor Kamal Haasan, who is busy shooting for Tamil thriller “Thoongavam”, and filmmaker Mani Ratnam are not teaming up for a project, a source said.

“Nobody is sure where this rumor came from. Kamal sir is busy shooting for his next film, and he’s not teaming up with Mani Ratnam as of now,” a source close to Kamal Haasan told IANS.

Haasan and Ratnam had previously worked in critically-acclaimed Tamil crime-drama “Nayagan”, which was even remade in Hindi as “Dayavan”.

Mani Ratnam, who is basking in the success of latest hit, “O Kadhal Kanmani”, is reportedly going to work with Dhanush in his next.

Haasan, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Tamil thriller “Papanasam”.

Actor Nara Rohit says his forthcoming Telugu action-thriller “Asura”, which releases on Friday, is the most commercial film of his career.

“The script demanded the film to be very commercial. I could say it’s the most commercial film of my career. The film features some amazing action blocks, punch dialogues and even an item number. It’s something very contrary to what I’ve done so far,” Rohit told media.

Rohit, who is the nephew of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, noted that it was his uncle who suggested him to do more commercial films.

“He suggested that I should do more commercial movies. Although, he doesn’t have the time to watch my films, he’s been an integral part of my journey as an actor,” he said.

In “Asura”, Rohit plays role of a prison officer.
