The two-day Samara Deeksha launched by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Mangalagiri seems to have had its impact on AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who apparently felt the heat of the Opposition leader.

In a video conference with his party leaders, Naidu alleged that Jagan had become a road block for the development of the State and called upon the party activists to protest against the two-day deeksha of Jagan in the new capital city area.

He charged the YSRCP chief with resorting to deeksha to prevent building of new capital city for the State.

He also accused Jagan of hatching a conspiracy and supporting TRS in the MLC elections gave room for these apprehensions.

Naidu reported to have discussed the strategy for Andhra Pradesh MLC elections and asked in-charge ministers to take the responsibility.

Launching a blistering attack on AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for pumping illegal money to buy MLAs for votes, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy today slammed that sweeping political changes will result in two Telugu States.

Speaking to media persons here, the Home Minister said there are records to show that Chandrababu Naidu was the ‘kingpin’ in the vote for note episode that turned dirty and raised many a few eye brows, he said.

Now Telugu Desam leadership was exerting pressure on Revanth to abstain from disclosing the name of Naidu during inquiry, he alleged.

Naidu had personally spoken to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to do a favour for the recently held elections and offered Rs 5 crore.

“We have records in this regard and the law will take its own course”, he stated. “Of course, the footage seen in television channels disclosed Naidu’s role in the murky handing over of Rs 50 lakhs to Stephenson”, he said.

As the case is sub judice, it is not good to speak about this, he said when asked to react on Revanth Reddy’s episode that landed him in Charlapally jail now.

It is being widely debated among public on the defamed Revanth episode at the behest of Naidu, he alleged.

He slammed Revanth for luring the nominated MLA during the MLC elections in which the TRS won all the five seats it contested.

Leaders vexed with the TD and the Congress are making it to the TRS to achieve Bangaru Telangana, he said.

Chief Minister KCR is pro poor and giving top priority for the welfare of the State, Narsimha Reddy said. The KCR Government is implementing schemes which were not announced during poll eve propaganda, he added.

The manner in which Revanth Reddy episode rattled TDP is well known in political circles and this has shaken up the entire political equations in Telangana. T-TDP is in a turmoil today with Chandrababu Naidu also unable to even answer questions from media regarding this episode.

At the same time there are rumours doing the rounds that finally this may even affect Naidu personally and he may have to move behind the bars sooner or later. This has been Jagan’s dream for a long time as well as the diehard critics of Naidu in Telugu speaking states of AP and TS.

Meanwhile there are also reports that TRS government has its hands on Naidu-Stephenson phone conversation and this is causing ripples in TDP circles. But surprisingly KCR is reportedly hesitant to act against Naidu. This is being seen as the way in which YSR compromised on Balakrishna shooting episode.

But again leaders close to KCR including some of his family members are forcing him not to lose this golden chance to nail Naidu because they feel that in future of given a chance Naidu may not compromise to destroy TRS. But KCR is yet to make his mind, say sources.

The shocking arrest of Telangana Telugu Desam Party leader Revanth Reddy on Sunday has been affecting his family as well. It is reported that Revanth Reddy has been planning his one and only daughter’s wedding with an Andhra groom and the there has been a ceremony planned on June 11th.

Due to the sudden arrest of Revanth, the  works for his daughter’s marriage which were being done in full swing earlier now seems to have taken a break. Advocates of Revanth are trying hard to get him bail so that he can attend this ceremony without any obstruction. But the Telangana State government is preparing all evidences to fix up Revanth in jail.

However, it is reported that Revanth is mentally disturbed about this and his family members may postpone the ceremony if he will not be granted a bail. Let’s see what happens on Friday!

One big MLA from Hyderabad was lured into the TRS with the promise of being accorded permission for one or two medical colleges.

Another MLA was facing a dispute over ownership of 100 acres. He was promised settlement of the issue in his favor.

Another MLA was given the assurance of huge government contracts. Compared to these, what is Rs 5 crores?

Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy alleged on Wednesday that TDP President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is the “key person” in the issue of a TDP MLA allegedly trying to bribe a nominated MLA in Legislative Council polls.

“Revanth Reddy (TDP MLA who was arrested) got entangled by giving an offer of Rs five crore to defeat our party (TRS) MLCs (candidates in council elections). This is going to bring a big change in politics in this state. Because, Chandrababu Naidu is the key person in this.”

“Chandrababu spoke to the MLA on phone. That telephone information is there. People are demanding that Chandrababu be made the main accused,” the Home Minister said.

He said law will take its own course in the matter.

Revanth Reddy was arrested on Sunday last for allegedly trying to give a bribe to nominated MLA in the Telangana Legislative Council polls held this week.

Meanwhile, senior TDP leader S Chandramohan Reddy alleged that a conspiracy was hatched against Revanth Reddy.

“Revanth is a young man. He is growing. Is it necessary to make such a big conspiracy as you are unable to answer the questions posed by Revanth in Legislative Assembly, outside, in the media?,” the TDP leader said. (PTI)
