It is we that first brought to light that a fake account of Shriya Saran in existence and it has nearly 2 lakh followers including a long list of celebrities. Talking about it, Shriya has responded now claiming that someone is faking her all these days on twitter and requested her fans to follow her only on this present new account.

Claiming that the handle “@shriya1109” is her original twitter account, operated by herself, Shriya stated, “All fake ids! Please stop it! It’s not funny and cool to fake some one. Please respect my individuality! Let me be me (sic)”.

While she is not against those fan pages created by her hardcore admirers, she avers “To love and appreciate some one is very different from faking some one.Intruding there privacy!you know who you are”.

However, Shriya is going to get her official page verified by twitter management such that there will be no confusion. Yeah, that is better Shriya.

KCR grants Greater Status for Warangal

The Telangana Government on Wednesday issued orders for making Warangal as Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who conducted a high level review meeting at the Secretariat Municipal Admin Principal Secretary MG Gopal and Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy took the decision and issued orders.

Warangal area is a combination of Warangal, Hanmakonda and Kazipet. Warangal is the second-biggest city after Hyderabad in Telangana.The population of the city is now about 10 lakh.The government wanted to make Warangal a greater city in view of its historical and tourism significance.

Observing that Warangal is developing fast, the chief minister said the government intends to develop the city on par with Hyderabad in the education and industrial sectors. 42 Gram Panchayats have been merged into Warangal to this effect.

Previous Congress government has announced this proposal but then government has not yet implemented this till now.

Do not draw any conclusions that there is one more multistarer film coming up. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who is currently producing his first ever film on NTR Arts banner with an outside hero (Ravi Teja) in Kick-2 decided to continue the streak.

We are said that he will be producing a film starring Prabhas and to be directed by Puri Jagannadh. The story line narrated by Puri Jagannadh impressed both Prabhas and Kalyan Ram. All the three agreed to team up for this project. However we are not sure when Prabhas will begin this film.

He already okayed ‘Okka Adugu’ by Krishnam Raju and untitled project by Run Raja Run fame Sujith. Prabhas is currently busy wrapping up the shooting of his Baahubali. The movie is complete except for two songs.

On the other side, Kalyan Ram is on a high with the success of Pataas. His Kick-2 has garnered good expectations in trade and as well as audience with the first look teaser itself. The movie is said to be getting good business offers every where.

Yesterday, it is a surprise for Telugu film lovers as the word is spread that hot seductress Shriya Saran is back on micro-blogging site twitter.

As media professionals and heroes like Rana are busy giving warm welcome to this Delhi lass on twitter, people started to wonder when did Shriya exited from twitter and why did she come up with a new handle when old one is still alive.

In fact, all these days almost 2 lakh followers are following the account “@Shriya_S”, where our hot heroine is posting day to day updates of her. Even many celebrities follow the same account, which anyway doesn’t had that ‘verified tick’ from the social networking site.

And now, Shriya started promoting that she is back on twitter and can be followed at the account “@shriya1109”, and also posted few of her personal pics with her nephew and while going to a dentist.

If this is real Shriya, then what about that old twitter handle? Did Shriya forgot that she has another account, or is that a fake account?

Now ‘Made in Telangana’ Liquor

Seeking to boost its revenue by another Rs 2000 Crore per annum, the Telangana state government is planning for ‘Made in Telangana’ liquor. KCR-led government wants all liquor sold in the state to be made in Telangana itself.

It is learnt that already government is holding talks with multiple liquor companies regarding the same asking them to set up their manufacturing units in the new state. This is not all. T-governmennt is all set to announce industry-friendly policies to woo the liquor companies in Maharashtra, UP, TN, Karnataka.

According to the sales records, the state has an average sale of 17 lakh cases each month in 15 distilleries of Telangana. Of these, 3.2 lakh cases are imported from various states. Now Telangana government is focusing on these 3.2 lakh cases.

Presently, Telangana has 15 distilleries whereas two other are yet to be operational. The new state is producing Cheap Liquor and it has sales over 14 Lakh cases per month. Now the state government is eyeing to increase this sales and even contemplating to reduce “Under Proof” of liquor prices.

It is learnt that the present UP of liquor in Telangana is 25, which contains over 42 per cent alcohol. If governemnt reduces the UP to 35, the alcohol portion will fall to 37. With this, a liquor bottle that is presently sold for Rs 70 could be sold for around Rs 45-50. This naturally will boost sales.

Actor NTR’s commitment can’t be questioned. In an instance that proves his passion and commitment yet again, NTR apparently skipped food and water for nearly 18 hours. As per director Puri, NTR did it for filming a shot and was patient throughout the day.

“For a single shot in the film, NTR didn’t even have single water drop. He didn’t had anything for over 18 hours for a walking shot in the film. It shows his commitment towards acting, his role. This is just one instance in the film,” shared director Puri.

He added that Tarak involved completely into the film and did his best. Puri also said that one would see a new NTR altogether in Temper. Puri expressed that Tarak’s six-pack is one of the highlights of Temper.

Kodandaram, Professor in Osmania University played stellar role in coordinating with the students and politicians as a Chairman of T-JAC during the heat of Telangana movement and guiding them towards the goal of achieving Telangna state.

However after the formation of Telangana, Kodandaram unlike many of his colleagues did not enter politics but returned back to his profession. However of late he has been participating in various functions and programs and started criticizing TRS Govt and CM KCR over their failure on solving many problems.

It is coming out that T CM KCR offered a plump post to Kodandaram but he rejected it outright. In the meantime CPM is trying to convince him to field him as the party candidate from graduate constituency in MLC elections.

Sources indicate that CPM Telangana Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram met Kodandaram and came with the proposal. However Kodandaram did not show interest. CPM leaders say they are ready to field him if he gives green signal.
