Director KS Ravi Kumar has broken his silence over the brickbats on Lingaa’s climax episode where Rajinikanth jumps to catch a balloon and fights with antagonist Jagapathi Babu. Retaliating the criticism, Ravi Kumar drew comparisons between Rajini and Hollywood superstar films like Superman, Spiderman, Batman, X-man and said, “When audiences are enjoying the over-the-top Hollywood superstar films like Superman, Spiderman etc, what’s the wrong in Rajini jumping to catch the balloon in air and fighting with goons? 

Is Rajini not a superstar?” Ravi Kumar lamented the critics for their remarks on Lingaa. Quashing the criticism, the auteur of films like Narasimha (Padiyappa), Muthu termed Lingaa as “classic” in Rajini’s career. “Lingaa is classic in Rajini’s career. Rajini loved the script a lot and it has been tailor-made for family audiences.” 

Commenting on the film’s lag, he admitted and said, “We have trimmed the film by nine minutes on the request of fans and audience. Since the movie was released during exam time, we’re expecting more crowds during upcoming holiday season.”

Another hero from Mega family Varun Tej is all set to strike the box office next week. After waiting for months to release in safe zone, makers are now planning to release their film on December 24th.Now the film has cleared final hurdle .Mukunda has just completed censor proceedings and has attained ‘U/A’ certificate from the censor board. Varun took it on social media platforms and wrote, “It’s “U/A” for #Mukunda ,just got done with Censor!!” 

As per reports the film unit received appreciation from Censor board.Officials felt that the movie makes much sense with its content and specially appreciated the hero and director for their efforts in making a clean entertainer. Set in a village, the film is being touted as a romantic entertainer and Varun Tej plays the role of a village bloke who strives to bring a change in his village. 

Varun Tej wil be seen as Volleyball player in the romantic entertainer and Pooja Hegde will be seen as his love interest. Srikanth Addala is directing the movie while Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) and Tagore Madhu are jointly producing it.Mukunda is expected to be another pure entertainer from the director.

After delivering a series of flops at the box-office, Vikram Kumar’s ‘Ishq’ in the year 2012 has finally changed the fate of Nithiin. It was followed by another super hit (Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde in 2013). 

This year, Nithiin appeared in Puri Jagannadh’s Heart Attack and the film ended up as an average grosser at the ticket – window. Nithiin’s upcoming film ‘Chinnadana Neekosam’ is scheduled to hit the theaters on December 25th. 

Many people suggested Nithiin to move the release for Sankranti as the film has the chance to collect more revenue in festive season. However, Nithiin is firm upon his sentiment and he is determined to score a super hit in 2014 with Chinnadana Neekosam.

At a film and comics convention exhibition, Comic Con India, that is likely to happen in Mumbai on December 21st, Baahuabli team will unveil a special preview video of what is happening with the movie. Probably they will release another production chronicle or a making video of the flick along with some real action teasers.

You know it is a common scenario to have films getting dubbed and remade from Tamil to Telugu, Hindi to Telugu, Malayalam to Telugu. But a Marathi film coming to Telugu is very rare. Given the fact that Marathi industry is far behind when compared to Tollywood and is quite restricted to its territory in Maharashtra is known. 

However, things are changing. Last year, the Marathi movie ‘Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai’ got remade as ‘Made In Vizag’ in Telugu and this was directed by Kanmani. Later on, it was Pawan Kalyan’s wife Renu Desai who came up with another Marathi movie into Telugu. This is titled as ‘Ishq Wala Love’. 

Now, another movie titled as ‘Andhra Pori’ is launched and this is a remake of the Marathi hit movie ‘Timepass’. Well, it looks like we are in a position to get inspired from Marathi movies also though we have original writers and creative thinkers here. But then, let us welcome all this positively and as long as there is a good product around, we shall encourage it.

What’s the most talked about moment from Mahesh’s intelligent drama ‘1-Nenokkadine’ if we have to make comments related to Superstar’s performance? Surely comes his bare-body talk, as for the first time he dared to pose shirtless, though he has just given a glimpse from the back. According to reports, Mahesh Babu declined to go shirt less again for the second time on silver screen. 

In fact director Koratala Siva asked Mahesh to pose without shirt for a sequence in the title song of the movie. The ‘Mirchi’ director sought if the Superstar could wear a nothing and sport his carved abs for which our hero isn’t interested.
