Many others are injured and are in serious condition. This incident has squeezed the hearts of Bollywood as well. 

Reports from Mumbai are arriving that the Bollywood biggies are coming together and they are planning to hold a candle rally in Mumbai as a mark of their solidarity to the lost souls. As it is, there is a huge market for Hindi movies in Pakistan. When we think of Pakistan, we get reminded only of terrorism and militancy. 

But when Pakistanis think of India, they get reminded of cricket and Bollywood. The demand for Bollywood films is very high in Pakistan and if this gesture from Bollywood happens, it would mean a lot to the people of Pakistan. An announcement in this regard is expected very soon from Mumbai, as per sources.

Hansika Motwani’s mother Mona Motwani has been in news for reportedly wrong reasons. Mona, who looks after Hansika’s dates, apparently demanding whopping Rs 2 Crore as part of her remuneration for her next Tamil film. Presently, Hansika is reportedly charging Rs 1.5 Crore for films Ambala (opposite Vishal) and Garuda (opposite Vijay). Even before release of the films, Hansika’s mother is allegedly hiked her daughter’s price tag claiming the confidence on movie success. 

Not long ago, Hansika has hiked her fee from Rs 1 Crore to Rs 1.5 Crore after the success of Aranmanai. Now she is demanding whopping Rs 2 Crore for new films. Besides the remuneration, Hansika’s mother Mona is apparently putting several conditions. In her recent film, the makers have shot an advertisement within the film and for this, the producer said to have received Rs 25 Lakh from that company. 

Knowing this, Hansika’s mother reportedly asked for half of the payment for Hansika. With no other option, producer said to have agreed for this demand as well besides paying a huge pay cheque for the actress for acting in the film. With the manner in which Hansika’s mother allegedly squeezing producers, producers are grumbling over it. Definitely, not expected from a professional and talented actress like Hansika.

The moment Telugu people got separated into two states, there is a huge buzz around these kind of stuff. But there is nothing apolitical in the things we are talking about as the news is about an upcoming movie. Feauturing director Puri Jagan’s son Aakash as a hero, director Raj Madhiraj of ‘Rishi’ fame is now carving a movie titled ‘Andhra Pori’. 

The name itself indicates that the story revolves around a girl who came from Andhra region and settled down in Hyderabad. As this director happens to be a Hyderabadi from a long time, we have to see what will he offer with Andhra Pori. 

And that touted Andhra girl role is being played by famous TV serial girl Ulka Gupta. None other than the iconic Prasad Production is making this film. Titled ‘Andhra Pori’, the film got launched today in Telangana’s Hyderabad.

All this time, we’re seeing a differently chiselled Vikram on the posters of Shankar’s upcoming marvel “I”. As the film is gearing up for a mammoth release on Pongal eve, the makers have now released a new poster, which is enthralling romance-lovers like never before. Probably after seeing Vikram in scary avatars and Amy Jackson in bleeding look, this cute poster has given huge relief. 

As Vikram holds our London beauty by the waist, she is seen sporting a Royal Enfield body suit and giving that fantastic ‘pleasure’ expression. Even with age running away from him, Vikram looks quite a charmer as his heroine. Cine lovers are enthralled by this romantic look of “I” as they are seeing only weird looks of hero and spine chilling action sequences all the time. 

The poster makes it clear that “I” will be hitting screen for Pongal, but release date was kept under wraps for now, though rumours have that January 9th is the day.

Get ready to use WhatsApp from your desktop as reports are rife that the messaging app is contemplating to launch its desktop version soon. Although WhatsApp is yet to make an official statement, a recent study by the team at AndroidWorld.nl gives an insight that the message app is exploring its options of web functionality. 

Adding to these speculations, the recent study indicates that mention of “WhatsApp Web” in the code, about logging into web and tracking online statuses hint that WhatsApp is on its way to web. 

Already its peers like Line, Viber, Telegram and WeChat all allow its users to message either on your phone or the via the web. With over 600 million users, WhatsApp is the largest messaging service and it is still on its way to launch its desktop version. It’s better late than never.

But here is a small observation coming from few cine seniors and they feel the city of Rajahmundry has got its own film studios. 

The reason being, shootings of Telugu films have been going on since a long time but now the frequency has increased. Just like how some bungalows in filmnagar are given on rent, similarly, some big homes and traditional homes, village bungalows in Rajahmundry and the surrounding areas are being given for rent. 

That way, they are getting good income and even the cost of making is working out to be less. A key reason why many Tollywood members prefer Rajahmundry is due to the greenery and the picturesque locales surrounding the small city. In a way, number of studios has come in that city making Rajahmundry a hot destination for cine circles.

This year, he is once again heading to Abu Dhabi along with his wife Namrata, kids Gautham and Sitara. From last three years, he is heading to UAE only, isn’t the destination boring him? ‘Our kids are quite small, they can’t take jet lagging. That’s why we prefer destinations that are reachable in 4-5 hours. Also Gautham loves fat-biking, camel rides and dune bashing in the deserts of Arabia’, says Namrata.

Coming to young dynamite Ram, he will be heading to a different country each time to spend his new year. ‘We’re going to Hong Kong this year to enjoy the special fireworks and party atmosphere. Also I’ll be shopping wardrobe for my forthcoming films too’, said Ram, adding that his family and friends will be accompanying him. That’s a pleasure cum business trip then.

It is not new for celebrities to go under the knife to make certain changes/corrections to their face and body in order to appear more appealing. Even divine beauties like Sridevi have gone for nose jobs etc. to impress their fans. There are numerous Bollywood heroines who have undergone nose jobs, lip jobs and other jobs! There are few heroes who have made ‘corrections’ to their face and physique through medical aid. 

However Kajal Agarwal, one of the natural beauties in Indian Cinema said she is totally against surgeries. Kajal does not believe in artificial cosmetic methods and surgeries. She said she wants to age naturally and gracefully. Kajal received so much flak for gaining weight until few days ago.

She never tried to get rid of the extra flab through liposuction or other surgeries. She has hit the gym and shed down all those extra kilos and is back in shape. Her new look in Temper is temptingly beautiful. All others who take the easy route to get back in shape should take a cue from Kajal.

The unfortunate and shocking demise of music director Chakri has dealt a deep blow to the Tollywood film fraternity. However, what is happening at his household is bringing many heads to hang in shame and disgust. Well, issues have cropped up between Chakri’s family and his wife Sravani. Reports say Chakri’s family has filed a case on Sravani and she has gone to HRC for protection. 

It is a very bad thing to happen with the kind of allegations both sides are throwing at each other. It is barely three days since Chakri passed away and wherever his soul is, it would definitely not be at peace looking at the incidents. While that is one side, instead of sympathy these issues are causing disturbance to people and they are asking how they can have faith in humanity and relations.

The fact that these household issues have reached the media has magnified the entire issue. We can only hope that things settle as quickly and peacefully as possible between Sravani and Chakri’s family. Peace be with you Chakri!

Akkineni Akhil’s debut film has been launched in a very simple manner. Nagarjuna didn’t want to launch Akhil with a grand ceremony and kept it as simple as he can. Akkineni fans are cloud nine as Akhil’s debut film is finally official and all set to roll in few days. They have already given a title to Akhil. Akkineni fans are calling him Prince Akhil as he is the successor of King Nagarjuna. 

However, Prince title is given to Mahesh Babu by his fans and they still call him Prince Mahesh. In spite of the Superstar title bestowed upon him, Mahesh is fondly called as Prince by his fans and media. Recently Mega Hero Varun Tej was named ‘Mega Prince’ by Chiranjeevi which didn’t go down well with Mahesh fans. 

Now Akhil fans went to an extent to call him Prince without adding anything beside it. They argue that King Nagarjuna’s son will be called Prince Akhil and that is very natural. Hereafter stars should trade mark their titles before someone hijacks them.
