New Heroes Lobbying @ CCL
When you watch the professional cricketers, that adrenaline rush is different but when you watch your favorite actors playing cricket in a professional manner, that excitement and kick is totally different. This is the treat Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) has been offering since the past some time.
Now, the new season is about to begin and reports say new heroes are lobbying big time to be part of it. Incidentally, those who have entered films as heroes, they are idle till their second movie arrives. If the second movie becomes a flop they are worried about their future and are seeing CCL as an opportunity.
Filmnagar circles reveal a lot of lobbying has begun just like it happens in BCCI. A lot of things are happening on this front and CCL is becoming a professional entity. This has become an alternate career for new heroes because they get good payments by playing in the matches. It also adds a lot to their branding and image when they perform on the field. Only time will reveal who gets to be the lucky ones. – See more at: http://www.gulte.com/movienews/33620/New-Heroes-Lobbying-CCL#sthash.fmZlMQaa.dpuf
Trailer Talk: Love Story With Muslim girl
Continuing his winning streak, young hero Sharwanand has caught the eye of film lovers with the theatrical trailer of his latest movie “Malli Malli Idhi Raani Roju”, which is being carved by Kranthi Madhav of “Onamalu” fame. After a long time, Telugu cinema lovers will be witnessing an inter-religious love story that happens between a hindu boy and Muslim girl.
Not just that, this film offers an in depth perspective of a man who sweats it hard to attain success in life. As the trailer opens, Sharwanand is introduced as a ‘runner’, an athlete, who wins competitions at many levels and became a hailed celebrity now. However, we are cut to his flashback immediately as he falls in love with a Muslim girl, played by Nitya Menon.
Talking about the character’s philosophy, Sharwa says, “For anyone, life of others is always ignorable, but their own life is quite crucial and tough”. And even Nitya Menon enthralls saying “In all religions, people love each other alike”. On a whole “Malli Malli Idhi Raan Roju” impresses, as it is caught tangled between an athlete’s dream and his inter-religious lady love.
Star Anchor Is Not Exposing
The anchors in our small screen circuit carry different image. While anchors like Suma, Jhansi carry a homely image, Udayabhanu is more for the glamour and mass image. Amidst them came Anasuya who has not only stolen the hearts of the youngsters with her glamour but also the ladies with her charms.
Now, this star anchor is all set to make her debut into silver screen and many think she would expose in it. Well, here is something that might disappoint them. The film happens to be thriller genre and Anasuya is doing a serious and significant role.
This is being made under the PVP banner. In fact, since there is no requirement of exposing, that is the reason Anasuya agreed to do the film, as per sources. Her inclusion in the project has created a very good expectation for the film and it will be an interesting experience for her admirers to watch this fun filled lady in a serious avatar.
Will Telugu Audience Accept Baahubali Part-2?
We might sound a bit negative here but this is a fact that many of the cine members would not deny. Tollywood is at rock bottom position financially and all big movies are also at risk. Given this situation, some are asking how reasonable is it to make a film like ‘Baahubali’ in two parts at a whopping budget of Rs 120 crores. But here is another side to this debate.
Few others are saying “Who will do if it is not Rajamouli? Only he can do it. But making two parts could be risky. That craze, continuity and the gap between both releases is not known. If it is released as one film chances would be better to score well at the box office.” They add “We don’t know what Rajamouli’s scheme is but if you look in the past, Rakta Charitra’ part 1 worked but not part 2.
How will Rajamouli build the curiosity? Will it be enough to sustain the audience interest? Of course, if it works then Telugu movie will touch international standard no doubt.” Well, let us wish Rajamouli hits the bulls eye and keeps the pride of Telugu cinema up in history.
PC Wants Men To Wear Skirts
Reacting strongly on the comments made by Akhila Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha which is planning to move Supreme Court to decalred that all item-girls in Hindi movies are prostitutes, Ram Charan’s ‘Zanjeer’ beauty Priyanka Chopra called them stupid and regressive acts.
“Even I would like to move Court to make those men who make blasphemous comment against women to wear skirts as they don’t really stand up for real causes but start targeting women for everything”, she fumed. Priyanka strongly voiced her opinion that women in the country needs to be respected and men of the country should defend for them.
“Women are not just for pleasure, sex or kitchen-mommies. They are also human beings as much men are”, she added. As many men are accusing that women’s dress including short skirts are responsible for rapes, Priyanka breathed fire again. “Are they indirectly saying that a girl wearing short skirt should be raped? A girl is raped because a man raped her but not anything”, she concluded.
TDP MP blasts ‘Pay Packets’ of Star-Heroes
Rajahmundry MP, Telugudesam party leader, senior actor and producer Murali Mohan took pot-shots at the sky-high remunerations of some star heroes. While talking about the recently concluded issue between Cine workers and Producers Council, he responded in the position of MAA president and in a way sounded that ‘producers’ are failing to pool money as they have to satisfy the hunger of heroes.
“During olden days when producers are ready to pay in lakhs, NTR and ANR have decided themselves to charge only 50 thousand rupees. That helped many producers control other budgets too. But these days, heroes are worried only about their ‘pockets’, their ‘crores’, but doesn’t care about the loss they incur to producers”, said Murali Mohan. He stressed that there are no dozens of Telugu producers these days who are making films on regular basis due to the ‘hefty’ demands of star heroes.
“Heroes need just money; Young producers don’t know the craft and directors are not bothered about script. How will film industry survive then?” he questioned. On a concluding note, he stated that only a dialogue happens on re-working of remunerations of heroes, Telugu Film Industry will shine in the coming days.
