NTR’s Temper out of Pongal Race?
If the buzz from Telugu film town is to be believed, NTR’s upcoming Temper directed by Puri Jagannadh is not going to make it for Pongal. The film’s shoot came to a halt due to the ongoing strike in Tollywood. It will take at least three to four weeks to complete the balance shoot of this film it seems.
So the unit of Temper is thinking of staying out of Pongal race. If Temper doesn’t make it for Pongal, it will release on February 5th. These are just speculations and nothing has been confirmed by the unit members. On the other hand Shankar’s I is targeting January 9th release. Pawan Kalyan – Venkatesh starrer Gopala Gopala will release on January 14th.
This film’s last schedule is going on in Varanasi. The shooting will be completed within two weeks. Audio will be launched after the unit returns to Hyderabad. As of now I and Gopala Gopala will lock horns for Pongal.
How Much Is Satya Nadella Salary?
Satya Nadella’s whopping pay package approved Shareholders of Microsoft on Wednesday approved whopping pay package for the CEO Satya Nadella. Shareholders gave him lukewarm vote after Investor Advisory group opined that the pay was exorbitant.
Nadella is getting a whopping $84 million (approximately Rs 520 crores) which makes him the highest paid CEO in the world last year. It however falls short of the $378 million (roughly Rs. 2,340 crores) which Tim Cook was offered by Apple when he became CEO in 2011.
Microsoft’s former CEO was paid only $ 1.3 million in 2013 but he was holding shares worth $16 billion. Following this announcement shares of Microsoft fell down by 38 cents to close at $48.08 Wednesday.
Modi Eager To Meet Naidu & KCR Together
Speculation is increasing about Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Chandra Babu and KCR meeting PM Modi. Both the CMs are flying to Delhi to participate in the Chief Ministers conference.
Both KCR and Chandra Babu are trying to meet PM Modi and apprise him about the problems they are facing in ruling the two new states. In the process they are trying to impress him and get put forward their demands.
Even Union Government is of the opinion that the meeting between the two CMs who are crossing swords at each other on every small instance will help a lot in solving many problems. Though there is no clarity on the meeting, buzz is even PM Modi is showing lot of interest in meeting both Chandra Babu Naidu and KCR.

Flexi War: Swachh Bharat Replaced By Jagan Dharna
Tensions increased in peaceful Krishna district on Thursday making people spend sleepless nights. Ruling TDP and opposition YSRCP fought bitterly in Krishna district over removal of flexis.
When former Minister and YSRCP leader Kolanu Parthasarathy along with his supporters tried to remove flexi promoting Swachh Bharat program to replace the Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Maha Dharna flexi at Poranki center, Panamaluru mandal, TDP cadre along with MLA Bode Prasad tried to stop them.
This resulted in serious arguments, fist fights and even pelting off stones. When situation started going out of control with caste insinuations, police intervened registering cases on both parties.
‘I can’t move on’, says tearful Renu Desai
Touching hearts with a very candid talk, former heroine Renu Desai has literally moved one and all with the most ‘personal’ interview she has ever given. ‘My total life has become a controversy’, affirms Renu. Talking about her love story with Pawan at the age of 18, marrying him after 8 years of relation and then when everything seems blue-moon getting a divorce is surely a heart crusher.
But as so many fans are asking Renu these days to go back, she candidly asks, ‘Where should I go?’ With tears flowing from her eyes, she said, ‘He has moved on and had other options in life. How could I move back to him now? I don’t know about my future, but I always thought of living with same person forever in life and can’t imagine anyone else’.
‘I don’t know will I ever fall in love with anyone or get married, but I’m confident that I cannot love anyone else now’, she says, ‘I can’t just stop loving a person because I’ve got divorced from him. I don’t about Kalyan garu, and how he moved on, but I’m that bird who meets for life’, she concluded. All the time while sharing these thoughts, tears are rolling over and over on Renu’s cheeks.
Etela worried on Revenue in Telangana!
On one side, Telangana Chief Minister KCR was announced massive development programmes and welfare schemes in the state. Finance Minister Etela Rajender is the worried man how to provide revenue sources for KCR’s promises. Telangana has surplus budget for this year at the time of the division of the state. It seems that for Government would find difficult to maintain the “Surplus” status in near future.
Sales tax and Stamp duty are main revenue sources for any state government in the country. Telangana Government received 600 crores less on Sales tax on Petrol and Diesel. Every year Government received 6000 crores as revenue on Petrol and Diesel. Because of successive reduction of the prices on Petrol and Diesel since last 5 months, Telangana Government lost 600 crores on Petrol and Diesel.
AP Government doing all its registrations in AP for getting revenue instead of Hyderabad. AP Government allowed registrations on Stamps where purchased in AP only and allowed the registrations in AP registrar offices but not in Telangana’s. That affect severely on Telangana revenue in the form of Stamp duty. Telangana Government lost another 50 crores of revenue by exempting Autos from road tax. But Etela is confident that good days are ahead for TG.
