Chandrababu & Pawan Kalyan Discuss AP Budget & MLC Elections

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan engaged in a crucial discussion on Monday, focusing on the AP Budget 2025, MLC elections under the MLA quota, and current political developments. The meeting took place in the Chief Minister’s Chamber, highlighting the importance of the deliberations.
According to sources, a significant part of the discussion centered around budget allocations, with Pawan Kalyan emphasizing the need to strike a balance between development projects and welfare schemes. Key programs like Thalliki Vandanam and Annadata Sukhibhava, both scheduled for launch in May 2025, were reportedly discussed in detail.
The upcoming MLC elections were another major topic, particularly after Naidu announced an MLC seat for Pawan Kalyan’s brother, Naga Babu. Speculation is now rife that Naga Babu could also be considered for a ministerial post upon his election. Given the current political landscape, with the YSR Congress having no real opportunity to secure an MLC seat under the MLA quota, coalition-backed candidates are expected to be elected unopposed unless the YSRC fields a candidate.
The leaders also strategized on countering the YSRC in the Legislative Council, where the opposition has been active despite largely boycotting Assembly proceedings. This aspect was reportedly a key part of the discussions.
With Andhra Pradesh at a pivotal juncture, this high-level meeting between Naidu and Pawan Kalyan is expected to influence the state’s governance, budget priorities, and political strategy in the coming months.
Why Is NTR’s War 2 So Silent? Fans Await Updates!

Jr. NTR is currently immersed in his first straight Hindi film, War 2, which is now in its final leg of shooting. The team is currently filming a special dance number featuring NTR and Hrithik Roshan in Mumbai. Despite being one of the most highly anticipated Bollywood projects, the film has remained unusually low-key with no major updates in recent months.
A major concern surrounding War 2 is the lack of promotional activity. Surprisingly, the makers have yet to unveil any promotional material, including the much-awaited first look. Given that the film brings together two powerhouse performers, NTR and Hrithik Roshan, under the direction of the talented Ayan Mukerji, one would expect a strong marketing push. However, the production team has maintained complete silence, leading to speculation about why the film is not generating the buzz it deserves.
NTR, known for his aggressive promotional strategies, played a key role in the massive pre-release campaign of Devara. His absence from War 2’s promotional scene is quite noticeable, and it is evident that the team needs to shift gears soon. With the film tentatively slated for an Independence Day release, a major marketing push is necessary to build anticipation in the coming months.
For a film of War 2’s scale and significance, staying silent for too long could prove costly. Fans are now hoping that NTR and the makers will kickstart the promotions soon and bring the film back into the spotlight where it truly belongs.

Madras HC Orders Seizure of Shivaji Ganesan’s Property Over ₹9 Crore Debt

Debt recovery often leads companies to take extreme measures, and a similar situation has now unfolded involving legendary Tamil actor Shivaji Ganesan’s property. According to a report by The Times of India, the Madras High Court has ordered the seizure of a property linked to the late actor due to an unpaid loan.
The issue traces back to Easan Production Company, operated by Shivaji Ganesan’s grandson Dushyant and his wife Abhirami. The company reportedly borrowed ₹3.74 crores from Dhanabagiyam Enterprises at an annual interest rate of 30%. However, as per media reports, the loan remained unpaid, leading the lender to seek legal intervention. The case was reviewed by retired High Court judge T. Ravindran, who determined that the unpaid debt had ballooned to ₹9 crores due to accumulated interest and delays.
Following the investigation, the court ruled in favor of the lender and ordered the seizure of a Chennai-based property originally belonging to Shivaji Ganesan. If the outstanding amount is not settled, the property could be liquidated to compensate the lender.
As of now, neither Dushyant, his production company, nor any family members associated with Shivaji Ganesan have issued an official statement regarding the matter. The case continues to draw attention, as fans and the film industry await further developments on the fate of this iconic property.
