Rana Has No Time For ‘Golusu’!
Rana Daggubati is reportedly “unavailable” for director Ram Gopal Varma. This is the latest buzz doing in film nagar. After reports surfaced that both RGV and Rana are going to team up for an upcoming film Golusu and Rana had given his nod, producer Ramesh Varma came out in open and made it clear that “cast has not been decided”. As we dig into the reports, it is learnt that Rana Daggubati has “no dates” for RGV’s Golusu as he is already occupied with the films like Baahubali, Rudhramadevi and others.
Rana and RGV’s previous film Department bombed at Box Office without a trace and the weird-camera angles in the film were widely criticized. RGV’s Golusu, based on underworld, is expected to be on the lines of RGV’s previous underworld films like D, Company and Satya. “The project is in talks and it’d take another few weeks to finalize it,” said producer Ramesh Varma. Meanwhile, RGV’s films like Ice Cream 2, Patta Pagalu and Sridevi are in pipeline for the release.
Murari-Mahesh Babu: MK-AK
Superstar Mahesh Babu has given many blockbusters to Tollywood and his success rate is high but the cine analysts say the turning point in his career came with the film ‘Murari’. The reason for that is, till then Mahesh was doing urban and class roles but it was his role in ‘Murari’ with the native slang that moulded his image to become a mass hero and increased his box office potential. This role had drawn the youth and commercial audiences under his wings to a large extent.
Now, the filmnagar observers say a similar turning point is likely to occur for a young hero who has the potential to become a star. He is Arvind Krishna and the film is ‘Mana Kurralle’. So far, Arvind has done urban and class roles but in ‘Mana Kurralle’ he has donned a total mass character with high energy levels. Not just Mahesh, but some of the most successful heroes in Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood have experienced that golden turn with that one mass role.
Inside talk is that ‘Mana Kurralle’ has shown a facet of Arvind’s acting that Tollywood audience has not seen before. A few cine seniors who watched the film said “Just like how Krishna Vamsi tapped the energy of Mahesh in ‘Murari’ and gave him that mass appeal, director Veera Sanker repeated the act with Arvind in ‘Mana Kurralle’.” The film is releasing on November 21st so let us wait to see if Tollywood discovers a new star in the making.
Puri Jagannadh’s son gets Heroine
Akash Puri is gearing up for his maiden teenage romance and he will be pairing up with none other than Ulka Gupta, the girl who mesmerized Telly audience with her performance in the popular TV soap Jhansi Ki Rani. The 17-yr-old Ulka has been cast opposite Akash in the Telugu remake of Marathi film “Time Pass” which was a stupendous success. Director Raj Madiraju, who shot to fame with Rishi, will wield the megaphone for the remake.
Renowned producer-son of veteran LV Prasad, Ramesh Prasad, is going to produce the film under Prasad Productions banner. Akash proved his mettle as teenage boy and child actor in films like Gabbar Singh, Chirutha, Mahesh Babu’s Businessman, Prabhas’ Bujjigadu, is all set to go to the next level as he is playing the solo protagonist in the teenage love story. Needless to say that director Puri Jagannadh is a proud father.
Kajal Jumps To Chennai From Goa
From last couple of weeks, senior seductress Kajal Agarwal is busy locking horns with NTR in Goa. After Brindavanam and Baadshah, she is shaking a leg with Young Tiger for another time in Puri Jagan’s cop saga that is aimed at Sankranthi 2015 release. TRS Friend vows to fight for Seemandhra People
TRS Party Political friend MIM Party announced in assembly that they will fight for the rights of seemandhra people. Its leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, speaking in assembly on comprehensive survey undertaken by Telangana Government questioned the validity in taking the survey.
He said capital city of Hyderabad has become the cosmopolitan city and people from across India are residing here for many years. He said there are lot of loopholes in comprehensive survey and if Govt tries to stop benefits for the settelers only because they are not from Telangana, then MIM will oppose it tooth and nail.
He questioned how can TRS government deprive people of the govt benefits just because their ancestors hail from Rayalaseema or Andhra and other regions. He said if Govt thinks of doing so by robbing them the benefits of people born in Telangana on the pretext that their ancestors are from Seemandhra, MIM will fight for them.’.
Singapore Expert in AP Capital Advisory Committee
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu in his efforts to build a grand capital strengthened his Capital Advisory Committee by including renowned Singapore expert in it. Ku Teng Chai, Executive Director of Center for Livable cities (CLC) and also important strategist in Singapore Planning and Development department has been made the member of Capital Advisory Committee of Andhra Pradesh.
Chandra Babu will be flying to Singapore and Visit CLC where he will discuss in detail about capital construction in Andhra Pradesh with Ku Teng Chai. Chandra Babu long time back announced his grand plans to induct international experts in the 9 member Capital Advisory Committee. Singapore which promised to cooperate with Andhra Pradesh govt on new capital suggested Chai’s name after Chandra Babu Naidu wrote a letter asking for a expert.

Manchu Vishnu Challenges Award Winning Actors
“I don’t believe in awards and honors. Can’t agree that I’ll be a great actor only if I bag couple of awards”, says Manchu Vishnu, who is waiting keenly for his forthcoming release ‘Erra Bassu” that is directed by versatile ‘Darasakaratna’ Dasari Narayana Rao. When quizzed if he’s anticipating any awards for his performance in this taatha-manavadu kind movie, the Manchu hero responded in style.

Breaking: India to be Renamed?
Well, I know you all will be really shocked looking at the title. But, yes our country is India is to be renamed as Bharat was a petition filed the Supreme Court and however, rejected the plea and asked the petitioner to go to the conserned officials instead to the court. The Chief Justice H.L. Dattu asked the petitioner to make a good representation in the authority in power. The Court told that the petitioner can be approached after making representation and getting any positive votes for the plea.
“You (the petitioner) can come to us only after the authorities have responded to your representation or choose not to response,” the court said. After that the court has confirmed that plea is withdrawn. So, this man really shocked the country once for all. This kind of petition may be for the first time. Howvever, what do you think about it? Sharmila wants to come this side?
There have been many talks about the YSRCP boss Jagan’s sister Y S Sharmila being sidelined in the party after working hard for party’s activities until Jagan was in jail. In between, there was a talk that she was packing her bags and heading off to USA.
