There seems to be a very interesting motive behind the announcement of one more all party meeting by Home Minister Shinde on November 9th. Sources say that Congress leadership will be targeting two parties, one at state level and the other at national level.
Congress believes that while TRS favors Telangana, YSRCP will speak in favor of United AP. The only problem will be with TDP as it cannot afford to stick to its dual stand. If it says equal justice, then Seemandhras will be unhappy. If it refuses AP bifurcation, then the party will be finished off in Telangana.
This time the state BJP’s statements will be dictated by BJP’s leadership in Delhi which is now doing a tight rope balancing act of pacifying even Seemandhras similar to TDP. Through this meeting Congress is planning to extract an official statement from AP BJP regarding Telangana so that once TDP is targeted here, it can see that BJP cannot give any last minute surprises in Parliament for T-bill.
