At a time when several celebrities, socialites are going gaga over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship programme of “Swachh Bharat”, a clean India initiative, and participating with greater enthusiasm and euphoria, the one big man from Andhra Pradesh who is conspicuously missing in the action is actor-politician Pawan Kalyan. In fact, many of the Telugu stars like Akkineni family, heroes Nara Rohit, Ram, heroine Tamanna took to streets, wielded broom and cleaned them, Pawan, a staunch supporter of Modi, is giving it a miss.
While few celebrities, social personalities have already nominated or passed the challenge of Swachh Bharat to Pawan Kalyan, the Gabbar Singh star seems to be in no mood to pay heed or attention to their requests and challenges. Badminton player PV Sindhu and Lok Satta party founder Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan have nominated Pawan Kalyan sometime back but in vain as Pawan hardly responded to any of them. And it’s been a while that they have named Pawan and to everyone’s surprise Pawan hasn’t accepted their challenge despite it’s Modi’s brainchild programme.
Given that Pawan has humongous fan base and if he takes part of this noble cause many youths and his fans would be part of this pan India programme. Notwithstanding this, Pawan is tight-lipped giving suspicions whether Pawan is not “interested” in Swachh Bharat at all. Or is he just “too busy” to spare his time or is he “ill” to be part of the mission? There are volley of unanswered questions and one and only Pawan Kalyan can answer! Pawan, are you reading?
