Actress Rakul Preet Singh has recently been facing a series of unfortunate events concerning health and safety. After sustaining a back injury in October 2024 while attempting to deadlift 80 kg without a safety belt, the actress has been recovering. Now, she is once again in the spotlight due to an on-set mishap involving her husband, producer Jackky Bhagnani.

The accident occurred during the shooting of the Bollywood film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Along with Jackky, actor Arjun Kapoor and director Mudassar Aziz were also involved. The incident happened on January 18, but details only surfaced recently, sparking concern among fans.

According to reports, the accident was caused by the sudden collapse of the ceiling on set. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) President BN Tiwari confirmed that while no one was critically injured, the incident highlighted significant safety concerns at the filming location. Tiwari emphasized that filming was temporarily halted as a precautionary measure to prevent any further risks.

Tiwari also mentioned that the lack of proper maintenance at the studio is a cause for concern and shared that the issue had been raised with Maharashtra’s Chief Minister. Authorities at Film City were also alerted about the aging infrastructure that might pose further hazards.

Arjun Kapoor, who sustained minor injuries, was recently seen visiting Saif Ali Khan at the hospital, showing resilience after the accident. Despite the setback, the team remains focused on the upcoming release of Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which is scheduled for February 21, 2025. Fans are now looking forward to the recovery of Jackky Bhagnani, especially after the grand wedding last year to Rakul Preet Singh, and eagerly await more updates on the incident’s aftermath.
