
The Telugu land has lost another brave son, Army Cadre Murali Naik, who was martyred in Pakistan’s shelling along the border in Jammu and Kashmir. The final rites were held today in his native village of Kallitanda in Sri Satya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, IT Minister Lokesh, and others.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also expressed his deepest condolences to Murali Naik’s family, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting them in this time of grief. In a significant gesture, the government has announced a compensation of ₹50 lakh to the martyr’s family. Additionally, they will receive 5 acres of agricultural land and a 300-yard house plot. The family will also be offered a government job as part of the state’s efforts to provide financial security.
Pawan Kalyan, in his capacity as Deputy Chief Minister, also pledged to donate ₹25 lakh personally to the family in recognition of Murali Naik’s supreme sacrifice in defense of the nation.
