In what could be considered as an interesting development of sorts, the makers of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s ongoing project which appears to have been tentatively titled Bheemla Nayak have called for re-shoots. A small portion of the film which was shot already is currently being reshot. Interestingly enough, the action episode which was shown in the recently released first glimpse featuring Pawan Kalyanis also being reshot now. The makers have opted to reshoot this episode despite the fact that the teaser has garnered a positive response from all quarters. A few more scenes that were shot already will also be reshot in the forthcoming schedule. Apparently, there is a strong reason behind these re-shoots.
Prasad Murella, who was initially roped in to handle the cinematography had walked out of the project, citing creative differences with the lead crew. The makers then roped in renowned cinematographer, Ravi K Chandran for the assignment and he is working on the project now. Incidentally, Ravi K Chandran opines that some of the portions which were shot previously need to be reshot under his supervision. The makers obliged and certain scenes in the film will be reshot now. It happens to be that the action episode which was highlighted in the glimpse video will also be reshot by Ravi K Chandran now.
On a related note, rumors are rife that the makers also plan to unveil a new teaser of the film, which will highlight the character played by Rana Daggubati. This teaser will emphasize on Daniel Shekar, the character played by Rana Daggubati in the film. Trivikram, and Saagar K Chandra, who is directing the film are specially focusing on this particular teaser as it will be the first major promotional material featuring Rana, who also plays a pivotal role in the film.
Bheemla Nayak is announced for theatrical release on 12th January next year and it is expected to set the ticket counters on fire next Sankranthi season. Trivikram is providing the screenplay and dialogues for the film and Saagar K Chandra is directing it. Thaman is composing the music fo the social drama.
