Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has strongly countered Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s recent provocative comments regarding the Indus Waters Treaty.
In his response, Pawan Kalyan emphasized that such threats from Pakistan should not go unanswered, reminding them of historical lessons. He boldly stated, “Pakistan should be reminded of how they lost the last three wars. We need to show them the visuals of how around 70,000 of their soldiers were treated. If they push their limits, every Indian will stand united, ready to spill blood for the nation.”
Pawan Kalyan’s remarks come amid a surge in nationalist sentiments in India, particularly following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, allegedly targeted based on their religion.
Earlier, in reaction to reports suggesting India may suspend the Indus Waters Treaty in response to the attack, Bhutto-Zardari had declared, “The Indus is ours and will remain ours—either our water will flow through it, or their blood.”
