Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been deeply engaged with political and administrative responsibilities over the past few months, which had significantly delayed his film-related activities. However, he has now found some momentum and is beginning to allocate time to wrap up his pending projects.
The long-delayed period action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu has finally completed its shooting and is gearing up for release. With this development, the production houses involved in Pawan Kalyan’s other upcoming projects are also mobilizing quickly.
Top producers of his forthcoming films, including OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh, are reportedly queuing up at his office, seeking bulk shooting dates. They are hopeful that Kalyan, now appearing more inclined towards his film commitments, will provide uninterrupted schedules to ensure smooth progress.
Sources suggest that these producers are in a race against time, aiming to complete their projects while Kalyan remains available. Given that his return to full-fledged political duties is expected soon, producers—especially Mythri Movie Makers—are pressing hard to finish Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The film has already commenced shooting, and its OTT rights have been sold, intensifying the urgency to wrap up production.
Interestingly, Kalyan is said to have instructed the makers to streamline the film by eliminating unnecessary entertainment elements such as dance numbers with heroines, focusing instead on a clean, commercial narrative.
As Pawan Kalyan balances his dual roles in cinema and governance, the industry closely watches how long this film-friendly window will remain open.
