It has been only a few days since the Montha cyclone battered Andhra Pradesh, causing severe damage to property and livelihoods. In response, the state’s top leadership — Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan — continues to closely monitor the relief and rehabilitation efforts across affected regions.

In this context, Pawan Kalyan convened a detailed review meeting with government officials today, emphasizing the need for 100% efficiency and transparency in post-disaster management. He instructed district authorities to ensure that every affected family receives proper assistance and justice without delay.

The Deputy CM specifically directed Kakinada district officials to prepare accurate estimates of crop and property damage and to ensure that government relief funds reach all eligible beneficiaries. He also stressed the importance of sanitation and clean drinking water in the coastal villages within the Pithapuram constituency, calling for immediate cleanliness drives to prevent health hazards.

Furthermore, Pawan Kalyan ordered officials to submit periodic progress reports on the situation in fishing villages along the coast, ensuring that relief efforts are sustained and effectively implemented.

Through his proactive approach and ground-level focus, Pawan Kalyan has reiterated the government’s commitment to standing by every citizen affected by the Montha cyclone.
