However, due to the tragic events in Tirupati, which led to the loss of many lives, Pawan decided to tone down the festivities out of respect and solidarity for the victims and their families. “Pithapuram is a special place for me, and the people here hold a special place in my heart. I had planned to celebrate this Sankranthi in a grand manner, but in light of the Tirupati tragedy, I have decided to scale back the celebrations. While the festivities will still take place, they will be more subdued,” Pawan said.
