Pawan Kalyan is balancing both cinema and politics with remarkable energy. While serving as the Deputy Chief Minister, he is also gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film OG. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Entertainment, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 25. The teaser and songs have already impressed audiences, and the trailer is expected to release soon, with promotions in full swing.
Priyanka Arul Mohan, who plays the female lead Kanmani in OG, spoke to the media this morning about her role. Set in the 1980s and 1990s, her character is depicted as an innocent young woman in love with Gambheera, played by Pawan Kalyan. Priyanka expressed her excitement about the role, saying it is very special to her and that she feels lucky to share screen space with the star.
Speaking about Pawan Kalyan off-screen, Priyanka noted how the actor has transformed since entering politics. “Before the elections, he often seemed lost in thought. But after taking office as Deputy Chief Minister, he appears much calmer and happier,” she said.
She added, “He is more relaxed and responsible now. He talks about people, youth, history, and politics. Being a Deputy CM is a huge responsibility, and he is handling it exceptionally well.”
On her work front, Priyanka is exploring several stories in Telugu while also working on projects in other languages.
