Pawan Kalyan’s Sanatana Dharma Tour, A Political & Spiritual Move

Share

Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan has locked the date for his Sanatana Dharma Protection Tour, which is set to begin on the 12th of this month. As part of this four-day spiritual journey, he will visit several prominent temples across Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Pawan Kalyan’s pilgrimage will commence at the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala. From there, he will travel to Tamil Nadu, covering key spiritual sites like the Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Sri Parashurama Swamy Temple, Agastya Jeeva Samadhi, Kumbeshwara Temple, Swamimalai, and Thiruthani Subramanya Swamy Temple.

A major part of his tour will take place in Tamil Nadu, a state where he had earlier criticized Udhayanidhi Stalin’s controversial remarks on Sanatana Dharma, which stirred political debates. Now, with his direct visit to temples in the state, his tour is expected to attract significant political attention. Given his fluency in Tamil, his statements and actions could have a notable impact on the ongoing political discourse.

With Tamil Nadu set for elections next year, the political landscape is heating up. While DMK and AIADMK remain the dominant players, the BJP has been striving to strengthen its ideological presence. Political observers believe that if Pawan Kalyan’s temple tour sparks debates and influences public sentiment, it could give Tamil Nadu BJP Chief Annamalai an opportunity to build on the momentum and reshape the state’s political narrative.
