Sources reveal that the actor has agreed to receive only half of his usual fee, helping make the project more budget-friendly. Industry insiders say that more Telugu stars could benefit the industry by following his lead.

Currently, top stars like Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan command fees ranging from ₹30 crore to ₹100 crore, despite many of them not having recent box office hits—except for Mahesh Babu. A leading Telugu producer, who wished to remain unnamed, noted, “Prabhas and Ram Charan haven’t seen much success lately but continue to charge astronomical fees. This trend must stop if the industry is to recover.”
