Mark Shankar, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and popular actor Pawan Kalyan, was injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore on Tuesday. The mishap resulted in burns to his hands and legs, along with complications due to smoke inhalation. He is currently being treated at a local hospital, where a team of doctors is monitoring his condition round the clock.
The news prompted an immediate response from Pawan Kalyan, who was on a political tour in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Despite requests from party members to end the tour midway, he chose to fulfill his scheduled engagements in the Manyam region before rushing back to Hyderabad and then flying to Singapore.
Accompanying him on the emergency visit were his elder brother, Megastar Chiranjeevi, and sister-in-law Surekha. The family is now by Mark’s side, ensuring he receives the best possible care and support during this critical time.
Sources close to the family indicated that a detailed medical bulletin regarding Mark’s health will be issued soon. In the meantime, the family has appealed for privacy and requested fans and well-wishers to keep Mark in their prayers for a swift and full recovery.
