Sobhitha Dhulipala is headlining an upcoming Amazon Prime Original, marking her debut in the Telugu OTT space. The makers recently released the trailer, which offers a glimpse into a dark and intense psycho-killer crime thriller. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, who earlier made a mark with Kirrak Party, the trailer sets a gripping and unsettling tone right from the start.

The trailer hints at the story of a young, determined woman who quits her career as a journalist to launch her own crime podcast. Through this platform, she narrates spine-chilling crime stories. However, as she digs deeper into one particular case, she stumbles upon disturbing truths connected to a serial rapist. True to the genre, the narrative promises a serious, hard-hitting crime thriller filled with suspense and psychological tension.

Though Sobhitha has previously acted in several Hindi Amazon Prime Originals, this project marks her first venture into Telugu digital entertainment. The series boasts a strong ensemble cast including Viswadev Rachakonda, Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Aamani, Vadlamani Srinivas, Ravindra Vijay, and others.

Titled Cheekatilo, the series is described as a gripping thriller that uncovers the buried horrors of patriarchy, power, and truth. When crime anchor Sandhya’s close friend is found dead under suspicious circumstances, she embarks on a dangerous investigation that leads her into a dark and haunting past. As secrets unravel, Sandhya is forced to confront her own trauma and emerge as a fearless voice for the silenced.
