Kalyan Ram who came out of string of flops for more than a decade exploding with Pataas at the start of the new year found himself in legal trouble.According to the latest A law student from Dilsukhnagar, Y.Sridhar filed police complaint requesting action against Kalyan Ram for insulting the national emblem ‘Ashok Chakra’. .
Y.Sridhar filed case at Banjara Hills police station. Y.Sridhar in his complaint alleged that Kalyan Ram who acted and produced Pataas insulted ‘Ashok Chakra’ in the titles of the film. He said ” Ashok Chakra was shown at the top of the letter ‘TA’ in PATAAS which is illegal”.
Sridhar even asked police to take action against NTRS Arts office situated at Sagar Society, Road No 2, Banjara Hills.
He said Kalyan Ram didnot even respond to the legal notice he sent to him. Banjara Hills inspector Murali Krishna said ” We will consult legal experts and proceed accordingly before registering case on Kalyan Ram” Pataas starred Kalyan Ram, Shruti Sodhi under the direction of Anil Ravipudi. Film is produced by Kalyan Ram on NTR Arts banner. .
