Those were KCR’s words to Konda Surekha after the latter expressed disappointment at being denied a cabinet posting by KCR. When Konda Surekha first joined the TRS, the move was vehemently resisted by TRS Party cadre.
However, it was believed to be KTR, son of KCR who was keen on bringing Surekha into the TRS fold as she was certain to win the election. In return, she was promised a Minister post by KCR if the TRS came to power. However, both times, Surekha has been sidelined by KCR.
In all fairness, how could she expect KCR to have any goodwill towards her after the kind of language she used on him after the ‘Mahaboobabd incident’? On the other hand, three-time MLA, Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar who has been with the TRS for 12 years has been made ‘Parliamentary Secretary’. The position holds the rank of a Minister of State and has the same entitlements as assigned to a government department.
