A couple of days back, director Harish Shankar has actually condemned that there is no truth in the remuneration rumours surrounding dusky siren Pooja Hegde who is now doing his film with Varun Tej. And it looks like the actress has simply decided to put a full stop all the rumours in another way.
For becoming part of Varun Tej’s Jigarthanda remake Valmiki, actually, Pooja is said to be getting paid 2 crores for just 14 days of dates. Rather the heroine, many wondered why the director condemned this news, though it is actually true. And for leaking her paycheck details to the media, now Pooja has decided to quit this film.
Though the makers are trying to give a colour that Pooja Hegde’s dates have got messed with the shooting of her other film, currently she has to shoot only for Allu Arjun – Trivikram movie. While any adjustment is quite possible regarding her dates, the actress got so miffed with the leaked news and decided to quit the film, a source said.
But in the first place, after watching Maharshi, one has to rethink if Pooja Hegde is such a star material worthy paying 2 crores for a film.
