Positive Response For KCR’s ‘Third Front’ Proposal


The proposal of an ‘Alternative Political Force’ to the BJP and Congress at national level floated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been receiving positive response from many political organisations in the country. A day after KCR announced his interest to plunge into national politics, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi openly supported KCR’s plan to bringing a change in national politics.

West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC President Mamatha Banerjee spoke to the TRS Supremo on phone and extended her support. KCR has been receiving phone calls from several regional party leaders from many states and expressed their readiness to join hands in the formation of an alternative in the country before the elections.

(NCP) President Sharad Pawar and senior leaders spoke to the Telangana chief minister and discussed the possibility of anti BJP and anti Congress front with the amalgamation of the regional parties. The left party leaders mainly CPM National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury also shared his views on the need of emegerce of a third front before 2019 elections.

PMK (Pattali Makkal Katchi) leaders S Ramdoss and GK Mani from Tamil Nadi, who were KCR’s good friends, extended wishes and informed TRS leader they will stand by him. The two PMK leaders attended the inauguration of TRS head office – Telnagana Bhavan in Hyderabad in 2006. Jharkhand former CM Hemant Soren also called KCR.

A group of TRS MPs were entrusted to meet the MPs of all regional parties in the ensuing budget session of the Parliament begins on Monday and elicit their opinion on joining hands with the proposed KCR’s Front.
