Rebel Star Prabhas has teamed up with director Hanu Raghavapudi for an ambitious period action drama, currently in production and being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. While there had been long-standing speculation about the film’s title, it was recently confirmed as Fauji during a promotional event for the upcoming film Dude by actor Pradeep Ranganathan.
Pradeep, speaking about the passion of producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, said, “I don’t know if I can say this or not, but I saw a few clippings of Prabhas sir’s Fauji. Those clippings show their passion. What a passion. Extraordinary, sir.” His remarks inadvertently confirmed the movie’s official title.
Mythri Movie Makers, known for backing films like Dude — set to release on October 17 — are bringing the same dedication to this new project.
The film stars Imanvi as the female lead and is being touted as a period love drama set against an army backdrop. Fans can look forward to the grand spectacle when Fauji releases in 2026.
