Noted actor and outspoken critic of the BJP, Prakash Raj, has never shied away from expressing his political views. In the past, he has also been vocal about his differences with Pawan Kalyan. Recently, when Pawan Kalyan commented on Tamil folk opposing the imposition of Hindi, Prakash Raj countered, stating that the issue is not about language imposition but about self-respect.
It is evident that Prakash Raj and Pawan Kalyan have had several ideological clashes. However, the actor-politician took his criticism a step further when asked about Pawan Kalyan’s role as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
“He (Pawan Kalyan) has no vision and is jobless. Before coming to power, he spoke about issues like youth unemployment, corruption, and road development. But after assuming office, he left all that behind, put on makeup, and started talking about Sanatana Dharma. I don’t understand why he is wasting time on such things,” Prakash Raj remarked.
Expressing his disappointment, Prakash Raj stated that he is uncomfortable with Pawan Kalyan being the Deputy CM. He also pointed out how the ruling alliance has left the opposition in Andhra Pradesh weak and ineffective.
Following the circulation of this video, an agitated Pawan Kalyan fan lashed out, saying, “PK is actively working on Panchayat Raj, roads, tribal development, water resources, farm ponds, and more. You’re just a blinded, jobless idiot who refuses to see the truth.”
