Corona virus has hit cinema industry very badly irrespective of the language. No work has been happening from the past 70 days and therefore from daily wage workers to movie producers all have been suffering since lock down impose. Now that there are indications movie industry might start working very soon, there is talk that a lot of changes will be made regarding production and remunerations in the coming days.
Producers like Suresh Babu and C Kalyan are of opinion that Telugu Film Industry needs to collectively cross this crisis. They are in touch with each other and wants to take collective decisions. They are of positive opinion that star heroes to top character artists, heroines should reduce their remunerations for the upcoming films. A lot of changes are in store for the coming years is what C Kalyan is suggesting.
Apart from remunerations, production costs should be reduced drastically too. Otherwise it is going to be very tough says the producers. Already Tamil and Malayalam industries are going in this route. Many heroes from these languages have announced that they will reduce their remunerations.
We have to wait and see what type of decisions TFI will take in the coming years
