In year 2015, many prominent directors failed to release their movies and missed a calendar year totally. Boyapati Sreenu despite delivering a huge hit with Balakrishna’s Legend last year was not able to make another movie immediately. His film with Allu Arjun took off just recently and he missed the year. Sarainodu, their movie will come out in April 2016.
Same repeated for Vamsi Paidipalli who after delivering a hit with Yevadu had waited for almost a year to commence his new film. He wanted to make Oopiri with NTR and Nagarjuna but NTR backed out from the project as his films were flopping. Then he approached Tamil star Karthi and kick started the movie. Thus he lost an entire year. The film will be released next summer.
Sukumar too wasted nearly one year in the planning of Nannaku Prematho. He released his film with Mahesh Babu in January 2014 as the movie bombed at box-office he couldn’t convince NTR to start the film immediately. Putting Sukumar on hold, NTR completed Temper and scored a hit and then he began shooting for Nannaku Prematho. Hence Sukumar lost this year totally.
There are other directors who could not able to release a single movie too. Chief among them are Sekhar Kammula, Nandini Reddy, and Krishna Vamsi.
